Caribbean's Next Top Model (abbreviated as CNTM or CaribeNTM) is a reality television show in which a number of women compete for the title of Caribbean's Next Top Model and a chance to start their career in the modeling industry. The show features aspiring models from the entire Caribbean region.
Former Miss Universe, Wendy Fitzwilliam hosted the series accompanied by fellow judges; international photographer, Pedro Virgil and Caribbean fashion expert, Richard Young. 23 finalists from across the Caribbean (Barbados, Bahamas, Curaçao, Guadeloupe, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Antigua & Barbuda, Trinidad & Tobago) competed in an array of challenges to become the next top model. Created to exclusively feature the Caribbean experience, CNTM was shot on location in Trinidad & Tobago. Featured guests appearing throughout the season included: international photographer, Matthew Jordan Smith; world-renowned stylist and fashion pundit, Freddie Leiba; music producer, Bryce Wilson; fashion designer, Claudia Pegus; and reigning Soca Monarch, Machel Montano.
CNTM aired across nearly 30 Caribbean territories during primetime programming from February to May 2013.
Executive producer Dionyse Fitzwilliam was quoted as saying "I am distinctly honored to have been an instrumental part of delivering this engaging format, and hope to build on the strength of the brand in the future with the new seasons we are developing."
