Chiaki Watanabe

Chiaki Watanabe (as known as CHIAKI) is a visual artist and designer known for her minimal abstract visual music. She works in live visuals, videos and motion graphics. She studied at School of Visual Arts, New York USA. Her works have been shown throughout Europe and the United States, including Film Society of Lincoln Center, New York, Bergen Kunsthall [1], Norway, Institute of Contemporary Arts, London UK, Stuttgart Film festival [2], European Media Art Festival [3], Germany and Den Frie Udstilling, Copenhagen Denmark. She is a recipient of New York Experimental Television Center's Funds for New Media and Intermedia Performance (2006 & 2007).
