Christy Ren

Christy Ren (Chinese: 任家貝; Jyutping: jam6 gaa1 bui3; born August 5, 1983) was a short track speedskater for Hong Kong. She competed at the 2002 Winter Olympics for Hong Kong. Along with teammate Cordia Tsoi Pop-Yee, they became the first athletes to represent Hong Kong at the Winter Olympics.[1]

Ren was born in Hong Kong and attended Tufts University.[2]

She was a member of the Hong Kong Speedskating Union.

After the 2002 Games, Ren has since left the sporting world and continued her studies at Tufts. She graduated in 2005 and previously worked in investment banking with HSBC.[3]

Ren is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.[2]
