City Honors High School (CHHS) also known as City Honors Preparatory, is a public high school in Inglewood, California, United States, serving grades 9–12. City Honors High School is a school in the Inglewood Unified School District (IUSD) City Honors High School is located at 120 W Regent St, Inglewood, CA 90301. Being that City Honors is a college preparatory charter school, City Honors is designed to allow their students to graduate high school with an AA along with their high school diploma. As City Honors staff and facuality helps push the students to success, a family bond is created in the process. So, not only is City Honors College Preparatory Charter School pushing for an education and success, but also pushing for the family bonds among everyone.

The criteria for acceptance into City Honors include the following:

  • GPA minimum of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in English, Math, Science and Social Science;
  • a Report Card form the last three quarters (grades, attendance and citizenship included);
  • official transcripts (standardized test scores must be recoded: CST, CAHSEE (11–12) CELDT, re-designation letters);
  • two letters of recommendation (at least one must be from a teacher of Math, Science, English or Social Science);
  • a portfolio of student's work,
  • a scheduled interview with a present parent or guardian.
