"D.D.D. feat. Soulhead" is a J-Pop song which is written by Japanese R&B duo Soulhead and their producer Octopussy; Soulhead wrote the lyrics while the team wrote the music together and Octopussy made the musical arrangement. The song appears on Koda Kumi's 6th album Best: Second Session, and it is also the third single in the 12 Single Collection.

The single was a limited edition release, only had 50,000 copies and was released with Koda Kumi credited as the main artist and Soulhead as featured artists. It was also touted as "Girl's Anthem from 3 Diamonds" which indicates that "D.D.D." is an abbreviation for "Diamond Diamond Diamond". The song is an uptempo R&B-influenced girl power anthem, heavily inspired by Missy Elliott and Rockwilder's production of "Lady Marmalade", using a 4-bar rhythm and a blend of synths and guitars. The lyrics are in Japanese with lines, phrases and words in English, and it is sung like a duet, only with rap by Tsugumi of Soulhead.

Soulhead also released a variation of the single called "X.X.X." feat. Koda Kumi on their single Pray/X.X.X. feat. Koda Kumi, released February 1, 2006.

The song was featured in Suzuki's CM for the resale of Chevy's MW from 2006 to 2007.

Cover

As with the other 11 singles in this collection, the cover of the single represents a stylized version of a traditional dress from a culture; this time it draws its inspiration from the United Kingdom and the symbolic figure Britannia.
