David John Munro (born July 1948) has been the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey Police since 2016.[1][2]

He was educated at Bishop Wordsworth's School and Peterhouse, Cambridge where he read Engineering and History, graduating in 1972.[3][4] He spent 18 years in the Royal Engineers, rising to the rank of Major.[3] He is a member of Waverley Borough Council and Surrey County Council.[5]
