Devon Gregory Cajuste (born January 31, 1993) is an American football wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Stanford Cardinals. At Stanford, he majored in Science, Technology and Society (life sciences and biotechnology)

Early years

Cajuste attended Holy Cross High School in New York City, New York, where he was a three-year letterman in football. He also lettered in basketball and track and field. Cajuste received All-date, all-league, all-city, all-New York Post and all-Daily News honors in high school. He was ranked as New York’s fourth-best overall player and the nation’s 36th best tight end prospect by Scout.

College career

Cajuste did not see action as a freshman and played in eight games as a sophomore. As a junior, Cajuste played in 13 games and set the single-season school record for 22.9 yards/catch. In his senior year, he started 11 games and ended the season with six touchdowns and averaged 50.6 receiving yards/game. As a fifth-year senior, Cajuste was voted on Phil Steele All-Pac-12 preseason third team and Athlon All-Pac-12 preseason third team. He had 27 catches for 232 yards and three touchdowns.

Cajuste went undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft. On April 30, 2016, he signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent.
