Diablos Rojos is a Peruvian football club, playing in the city of Puno, Peru.

The club is the biggest of Puno city.

The club were founded 1965 and play in the Copa Perú which is the third division of the Peruvian league.

History

The club have played at the highest level of Peruvian football on five occasions, from 1983 Torneo Descentralizado until 1985 Torneo Descentralizado, and from 1987 Torneo Descentralizado until 1991 Torneo Descentralizado when was relegated.

In the 2008 Copa Perú, the club classified to the National Stage, but was eliminated by the IDUNSA of Arequipa in the quarterfinals.

In the 2009 Copa Perú, the club classified to the National Stage, but was eliminated by the León de Huánuco in the semifinals.

Rivalries

Diablos Rojos has had a long-standing rivalry with Alfonso Ugarte and Unión Carolina.
