Domeki Station (轟駅 Domeki-eki?) is an Echizen Railway Katsuyama Eiheiji Line railway station located in Eiheiji, Yoshida District, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.

Station

Only local trains serve Domeki Station. Two tracks serve two side platforms, and the station is unstaffed.

  • The station is near a small cluster of homes. The Kuzuryū River and National Route 416 lie to the north.

History

  • February 11, 1914: Domeki Station opens.
  • June 25, 2001: Operations halted due to accident on the Echizen Main Line.
  • July 20, 2003: Station reopens as an Echizen Railway station.
