Egon Jönsson (8 October 1921, in Malmö – 19 March 2000) was a Swedish footballer and trainer.

Career

Jönsson played 405 matches for Malmö FF. He became Swedish champion four times and capped 22 times for the national team, part of the squad to FIFA World Cup 1950.

After his active career he was a youth trainer and part of the staff as a team leader during the European Cup match against Nottingham Forest 1979.
