Extra Gear is a British online television series, broadcast by BBC Three, and presented by Top Gear co-hosts Rory Reid and Chris Harris. The programme is a spin-off and companion series to BBC Two's Top Gear.

Production
On 27 April 2016, it was announced that BBC Three had commissioned a spinoff series to Top Gear, titled Extra Gear. The series is released online immediately following episodes from the twenty-third series of the main show, and features exclusive new footage, interviews, specially-recorded films and behind-the-scenes access to Top Gear.[1]
Presenters
Main show recurring co-presenter Rory Reid was announced as the spinoff show's presenter on 27 April 2016.[1] Other main show recurring co-presenter Chris Harris was confirmed as a second co-presenter on the spinoff show on 29 May 2016.[2]
