Datuk Fatimah Abdullah née Ting Sai Ming is a Malaysian politician. She is the current state legislative member for Dalat, Sarawak and also hold the portfolio of Sarawak Minister of Welfare, Women and Community.[2]

Background

Fatimah hails from Kampung Teh in Dalat, Sarawak.[3] Her father is a Foochow Chinese and her mother is a Melanau. She was brought up a Muslim by her maternal grandmother.[4] She is married to Datu Dr Adi Badiozaman Tuah, the Director of the Sarawak Islamic Council of Educational Services Bureau and they have two children.[5]

Fatimah is an educationist. She was a former principal of Sekolah Kebangsaan Puteri Wilayah in Kuala Lumpur.[3]

Accolades

Fatimah was conferred the Panglima Gemilang Bintang Kenyalang (PGBK) which carries the title Datuk by the Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Datuk Patinggi Abang Muhamad Salahuddin on 28 September 2011.[8]
