On the night of 7 April 1998, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Corporation" class="extiw" title="w:Patrick Corporation">Patrick Stevedores</a> boss Chris Corrigan sacked his entire workforce and started one of the first serious challenges by a corporation to trade union power in Australia.
