Summary

Eccentric pipe of blown steel. 7 grooves. On the lower side of the pipe, Colt's patented type. On the top of the pipe, the entry "ADDRESS SAM L COLT - NEW YORK CITY".

Drum for six shots. Engraved with stage of diligence overlap (stagecoach hold up). The text "COLTS PATENT" and the serial number N: o 164746. Colt's safety cover on the back of the drum, between each hinged recess. The hammer's slab with slots in which the safety pin was pressed.

Stainless steel. On the left side stamped "COLT PATENT". On the underside 2 times the entry serial number 164746.

Flask of walnut. Beadplate of silver-plated steel, the rear arm continues around the piston, up across the entire piston rim. The serial number wrapped in front of the bead and on the left of the bow.
