Forbes' list of the most valuable sports teams

The world's most valuable sports teams, as ranked annually by the American magazine Forbes, include teams from football, American football, baseball, basketball, Formula One, and ice hockey. Since the ranking's inception in 2010, two football clubs, English club Manchester United and Spanish club Real Madrid, have been named the world's most valuable team. Real Madrid, valued at $3.26 billion, placed first on the 2015 list, while two American teams, Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League and New York Yankees of Major League Baseball, jointly placed second with a value of $3.2 billion each.
