The music is scored by noted Tamil film composer and son of Ilaiyaraaja, Yuvan Shankar Raja, who had composed the music for the original version as well, for which he was awarded the Tamil Filmfare Award for Best Music 2004. However, the song "January Madham" was not featured in the soundtrack and the "Theme music" was not the same as in the Tamil soundtrack. The lyrics were written by Ram Narayan and Shyam.
