Established in 1963, the Greater Lawrence Technical School is a four-year regional technical high school, located in Andover, Massachusetts. Greater Lawrence Technical School serves the communities of Lawrence, Methuen, North Andover and Andover.
Career Areas
A major part of the curriculum at GLTS is Career Vocational and Technical Education (CVTE). Students spend almost 50% of their educational time learning technical skills and knowledge in a career path that will prepare them for employment prior to graduation. In their first year, students explore all the different career programs. After determining a career major through the exploratory process, students enter one of the vocational-technical programs.
