Hardenbergia is a small genus of leguminous vines from Australia. The genus was named in honour of Franziska, Countess von Hardenberg (sister of Baron von Huegel)[2] by English botanist George Bentham, in 1837.
There are three species as follows:
- Hardenbergia comptoniana (Andrews) Benth. Western Australia
- Hardenbergia perbrevidens R.J.F.Hend. Queensland
- Hardenbergia violacea (Schneev.) Stearn (False Sarsparilla, Purple Coral Pea, Waraburra) New South Wales
