Hello Kitty Kruisers (also known as Hello Kitty Kruisers with Sanrio friends) is a kart racing game developed by Scarab Entertainment.[1] It was published by Bergsala Lightweight for Wii U and iOS. The game is based on Hello Kitty as well as other Sanrio characters.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Hello Kitty Kruisers consists of racing against other Sanrio characters. There are a total of twelve different tracks to race on, split into five themed areas. Depending of the map, the goal is to either drive, boat, or fly across the winning line first. Each character is equipped with a unique kart, boat, and plane to accomplish this.

The game includes ten popular Sanrio characters, including Hello Kitty, Keroppi the frog, Badtz-Maru the penguin, etc. In the Wii U version, six of the characters are available at the start, the other four must be unlocked. In the iOS version, those locked characters must be purchased. Along with each character having a unique model for each of their three types of vehicles, each model has 2 alternate color schemes as well.

In the Wii U version, four player local splitscreen is possible as well. The game is compatible with the Wii U Gamepad, Wii Classic Controller, Wii U Pro Controller, and a single Wiimote.[3]
