Henri Chérot

Henri Chérot SJ (1855 – 1906) was a French Roman Catholic priest, historian and co-founder the the learned journal Revue Bourdaloue.

Biography

Henri Chérot was born at the commune of Sens in the Yonne department. He joined the Society of Jesus in 1875. Chérot was a historian and frequent contributor to Catholic periodicals of the time.

He died in Montana, Switzerland.
