Horná Mariková (Hungarian: Felsőmarikó) is a village and municipality in Považská Bystrica District in the Trenčín Region of north-western Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village as Horná Mariková was first mentioned in 1828 but first sign of existence is from 1321.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 470 metres and covers an area of 47.458 km². It has a population of about 648 people.
