Incline Top railway station, later Top of the Incline was a short-lived early railway station on the Taff Vale Railway in South Wales.
The station was located at Penlocks, Treharris. It was accessible only by a steep flight of steps leading to the bottom of a deep cutting. The station's life was brief and it closed after 12 years. It was left to decay until being largely destroyed by a violent cyclone on 27 October 1913, a storm, which caused considerable damage across the district.[1] [2]
