Occupation(s) singer and songwriter

Jeanette Olsson is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She started working as a session singer in Stockholm in the late 1990s. As the Swedish music scene exploded with worldwide impact, Jeanette found herself recording and arranging backing vocals for almost every major international pop artist of our time.

Jeanette's vocals have appeared on tracks by artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, CeeLo Green, Lea Michele, Demi Lovato, Melanie Amaro, Cher, Havana Brown, Paulina Rubio, Santana, LeAnn Rimes, Meat Loaf, Jessica Simpson, Christina Milian, Mýa and many others.

Jeanette signed her first publishing deal in 2001 with Kobalt Label Services and artists like Destiny's Child's Kelly Rowland and euro dance queen Kate Ryan have recorded Jeanettes songs.

After changing her hometown from Stockholm to Los Angeles in 2010, she continues to sing backing vocals for the stars. She has co-written and sung the title track for Disneynature movie Wings of Life. Her voice is heard on commercials for Fiat 500, Gillette, Sears, 7UP and Ulta and on the movie score for Soulsurfer and Rock of Ages. Together with some talented LA singers, she has sung on the Disney parade Mickey's Soundsational Parade that premiered May 26, 2011 at Disneyland California. In early 2011, Jeanette became one of the regular backing-vocalists on the TV show Glee. Occasionally, Jeanette also works as a vocal coach on the Paramount stage where Glee was filmed. She sang a cover version of "Edelweiss" for the opening sequence of The Man in the High Castle.[1]
