Jennifer Chang

Jennifer Chang was born in New Jersey and is the Assistant Professor of English studies at the Colombian College of Arts & Science.[1] She is also a published writer as poet, scholar,[2] editor and essayist. She received her education at the University of Chicago, where she received her bachelors of arts in 1998 and at the University of Virginia where she received her masters of fine arts in 2002. She returned to the same university in pursuit of a PhD doctorate, where she is expected to complete the program in 2016. She has been recognized by Virginia Quarterly Review's Poetry Series and was a finalist in the Shenandoah/ Glasgow Prize for Emerging Writers.

Career

Jennifer Chang was originally published as a writer in 2008 by the University of Georgia Press with her first book The History of Anonymity.[3] The History of Anonymity is a collection of lyrical poems that was an inaugural selection for the VQR (Virginia Quarterly Review's). [4]

Jennifer has also begun to work on a second collection of poems, titled Some Say The Lark,[5] though it has no expected publication date. [6]
