Jermaine A. Curtis (born July 10, 1987) is an American professional baseball left fielder in the Cincinnati Reds organization. He has played for the St. Louis Cardinals in Major League Baseball (MLB).

Career

Curtis attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he played college baseball for the UCLA Bruins baseball team.

St. Louis Cardinals

The St. Louis Cardinals selected Curtis in the fifth round of the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft.[1]

He was called up to the majors for the first time on April 26, 2013 after Matt Adams was placed on the disabled list. [2] He was outrighted off the roster on November 20, 2013.

Cincinnati Reds

On December 23, 2014, Curtis signed a minor league deal with the Cincinnati Reds. He elected free agency on November 6, 2015[3] but re-signed with the Reds.[4]
