Joseph Capriati (born 25 July 1987, Caserta) is an Italian electronic music producer and DJ. He was raised in the southern Italian city of Caserta.

Career

Capriati started his career as a producer in 2007.[1] Capriati released his second album, Self Portrait, on Adam Beyer's Drumcode Records label in November 2013, having put out his first album on Analytic Trail in 2010.[2]

Capriati started as a DJ and became a producer.[3] He was the next techno DJ to break into the big league[2] and one of Italy’s biggest techno exports.[4] A resident at Marco Carola’s Music On at Amnesia in Ibiza since 2012,[5] Capriati has been widely credited as being the driving force behind Music On’s Main Room.[6] This platform that has acted as a springboard to wider global recognition as the Italian techno luminary has affirmed his status as a formidable contender in the expansive global underground music scene,[7] marking him out as a leading light amongst the next generation of international techno headliners whose musical magnetism makes him a firm favorite with club crowds around the world.[8]
