Le Raysville is a borough in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 290 at the 2010 census.

History

A post office called Le Raysville was established in 1827. The borough was named for Vincent Le Ray, a settler.

Geography

Le Raysville is located in eastern Bradford County at (41.837698, -76.180393). It is surrounded by Pike Township but separate from it.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.7 km²), all of it land.

There were 120 housing units at an average density of 150.9 per square mile (57.9/km²). The racial makeup of the borough was 99.06% White and 0.94% Native American.

There were 111 households, out of which 41.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.6% were married couples living together, 13.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.5% were non-families. 18.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.86 and the average family size was 3.31.

In the borough the population was spread out, with 31.1% under the age of 18, 10.1% from 18 to 24, 27.7% from 25 to 44, 19.5% from 45 to 64, and 11.6% who were 65 years of age or older.
