Les Épées was a French royalist and sovereignist magazine, created in 2001 and descended directly from the AFU (Action française universitaire). Animated by several former members of the Réaction, Les Épées defended a conservative and catholic royalism.

Editorial line

The magazine was prompted by the Action Française. It stated to be inspired by Maurras and Pierre Boutang. The articles were mainly devoted to political philosophy, royalist, conservative and traditionalist. The main editor, Frédéric Rouvillois, was professor of constitutional law.

After 2017, several of the magazine's contributors — as well as those of the magazine Immédiatement — found themselves in the editorial staff of L'Incorrect, sometimes at Causeur, or at the Fondation du Pont-Neuf, a conservative think tank.
