1991- Present
The club was founded 1991 in the Lithuanian city Jonava. Since 1992 Lietava playing in 1 lyga the second division of Lithuania. 1992-93 and 1998-99 seosons Lietava became winners of 1 lyga and played play-off agains FK Tauras Tauragė and FK Lokomotyvas Vilnius, but both times lost. 2012 Lietava became winners of 1 lyga for third time, but refused to promote to Lithuania top division.

Central Stadium of Jonava is a multi-purpose stadium in Jonava, Lithuania using by Lietava Jonava.
The seating capacity is going to be expanded to 3,000.[1] Near stadium is outdoor pond, which can be used for water events.
