Limni (Greek: Λίμνη) is a village of the Volvi municipality.[2] Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Arethousa, of which it was a municipal district.[2][3] The 2011 census recorded 232 inhabitants in the village.[1] Limni is a part of the community of Skepasto.[1] The village is built on the foot of mountain Kerdilia which separates the regional unit of Thessaloniki from the regional unit of Serres.
