1 1 "Day of the Dumpster" Adrian Carr Tony Oliver & Shuki Levy August 28, 1993 (1993-08-28) 101
When two astronauts come across a strange dumpster on the moon, they open it, accidentally releasing Rita Repulsa and her minions: Goldar, Squatt, Baboo, and Finster. Rita then sets her eyes on the nearest planet: Earth. Meanwhile, at a local youth center in Angel Grove, California, we are introduced to "teenagers with attitude" Jason, Trini, Zack, Kimberly, and Billy. Within the California desert, at the Command Center, Zordon and Alpha 5 are alerted of Rita's escape and teleport the five to the Command Center. After receiving Power Morphers, the teens morph into the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and take on Goldar and the Putty Patrol. Also making their debut are the bullies, Bulk and Skull, and Juice Bar proprietor Ernie.
2 2 "High Five" Adrian Carr Steve Kramer September 7, 1993 (1993-09-07) 102
After seeing Jason climb a rope at Ernie's Juice Bar, Trini reveals to the other Rangers that she is terrified of heights. Billy unveils his latest invention: wrist communicators with which they can contact Zordon and also teleport to the Command Center. On the moon, Rita decides to trap the Rangers in a time warp the same way she did Zordon. Squatt and Baboo send a rigged toy rocket to Earth that activates the time warp. Rita has Finster create the zombie-like Bones monster to control the time warp. Zordon sends the teens to defeat a small band of Putties. During the fight, Billy gets chased to the top of a cliff, and Trini must face her fears to save him.
3 3 "Teamwork" Robert Hughes Cheryl Saban September 8, 1993 (1993-09-08) 103
Kimberly and Trini attempt to close down a hazardous waste dump. Little do they know Rita is behind the dumpsite and plans to destroy the Earth by pollution. The Putty Patrol soon ambushes the two girls. Rita unleashes the powerful Mighty Minotaur onto Earth to keep the others busy. The boys are forced to morph and confront the Minotaur first. He proves to be an overwhelming opponent, and Rita uses her wand to make him grow. Trini and Kimberly defeat the putties, and the Rangers summon their Dinozords. Predicting defeat, Zordon calls them back to the Command Center and awards the Rangers special weapons: Jason the Power Sword, Trini the Power Daggers, Billy the Power Lance, Kimberly the Power Bow, and Zack the Power Axe. Working as a team, and combining their new arsenal into the "Power Blaster", the Rangers finally destroy the Mighty Minotaur.
4 4 "A Pressing Engagement" Adrian Carr Jeff Deckman & Ronnie Sperling September 9, 1993 (1993-09-09) 104
At the Juice Bar, Jason is trying to break Bulk's bench-pressing record, but is unable to. Doubting his ability, Kimberly and Zack try to comfort him but have mixed success. Rita decides to isolate Jason from the others by sending King Sphinx to Earth. With his mighty wings, the monster blows Kimberly and Zack away, leaving Jason alone. After teleporting himself and Jason to a desert, Sphinx is joined by Goldar. After regrouping with Billy and Trini, the teens arrive at the Command Center and witness first-hand Jason's struggle with a grown Goldar and Sphinx.
5 5 "Different Drum" Jeff Reiner Julianne Klemm September 10, 1993 (1993-09-10) 105
Kimberly teaches a dance class at the juice bar. Melissa, a young deaf girl, starts to run into the other girls. Embarrassed because of her impaired hearing, Melissa leaves. Rita decides that music is the perfect way to conquer the Rangers. She summons Gnarly Gnome, a garden gnome with a magical accordion, and sends him to Earth. Gnarly Gnome's music hypnotizes some girls from the dancing class, and they are lured to a cave.
6 6 "Food Fight" Robert Hughes Cheryl Saban September 4, 1993 (1993-09-04) 106
Ernie hosts a Cultural Food Fair at the juice bar, and the Rangers help, offering foods from around the world to people. When Bulk and Skull arrive, they turn the peaceful fair into a full-on food fight. Rita is inspired by this madness and generates Pudgy Pig, a wicked monster that is always hungry. Pudgy Pig will deplete the entire world of its food supply in 48 hours unless the Rangers can thwart him. The Rangers battle the pig, but problems arise when the villain eats their Power Weapons.
7 7 "Big Sisters" Jeff Reiner Gary Glasberg & Shuki Levy September 30, 1993 (1993-09-30) 107
Kimberly and Trini become "big sisters" to a mischievous little girl named Maria. At her palace, Rita discovers a chest containing the Power Eggs, magic eggs with the power to conquer all. None of Rita's henchmen, however, can open it, and nor can Rita. It is discovered that only the innocence of a child will release the eggs. Rita kidnaps the bratty Maria, with the intent of using her to open the chest. The Rangers face Chunky Chicken to save her. All of this, plus, Billy unveils his specially modified Volkswagen Beetle, which he calls the RADBUG.

Billy's young protege, Willie, has created his best invention yet: a hologame, which he enters into a science fair. Bulk and Skull happen upon the science fair and cause trouble. While the teens resolve the situation somewhat humorously, the commotion leads Willie to be disqualified. Disheartened, Willie flees but is kidnapped by Eye Guy, a monster who plans to steal his vast intelligence. The teens morph into action but soon find out Eye Guy will not be easily defeated. Even the combined Power Blaster cannot destroy him.

and Stewart St. John

Trini brings her favorite doll, an elf named Mr. Ticklesneezer, to Angel Grove High for Hobby Week. This catches the eye of Rita, who has the doll stolen and turned into a real monster. Ticklesneezer goes around shrinking everything, from buildings to trains, even Billy and Trini, and collecting them in bottles. Can the Rangers rescue their friends and bring an end to this nightmare?
10 10 "Happy Birthday, Zack" Jeff Reiner Stewart St. John September 16, 1993 (1993-09-16) 112
The Rangers and Ernie plan a surprise party at the Juice Bar for Zack. The secrecy leads him to believe that they have forgotten his birthday. Rita shows that she cares--about seeing to it that he never again lives to celebrate another, that is--by sending down a special treat, a vicious black-armored monster known as Knasty Knight. Zack soon finds out he is way over his head. Happy Birthday indeed.
11 11 "No Clowning Around" Adrian Carr Mark Hoffmeier September 17, 1993 (1993-09-17) 113
The Rangers attend a fair at Angel Grove Park, with Trini's cousin Sylvia. One particular clown, named Pineapple, lures Sylvia away from Trini when she is not looking. When Trini catches up with Sylvia, she witnesses Pineapple turn Sylvia into a cardboard cutout. The fair proves to be a trap for the Rangers, as they find out when the Putty Patrol arrives. Trini takes Sylvia to Billy's lab to return Sylvia to normal. When the Putties are dealt with, the Rangers confront Pineapple, who reveals himself as Pineoctopus, Finster's latest creation.
12 12 "Power Ranger Punks" David Blyth Mark Hoffmeier September 20, 1993 (1993-09-20) 121
The gang is playing volleyball when Baboo appears above the field. Without being noticed, he slips an odd potion into their water glasses. Kimberly and Billy drink the water and start acting like real punks. Rita plots to use the divided Rangers to allow her latest monster, the Terror Toad, to destroy the town. Alpha must journey to another dimension to find a unique singing squash, as only its juice can restore Billy and Kimberly to their right minds. Alpha must hurry, though, as the Terror Toad devours Trini and Zack, leaving Jason to fight the monster alone.

The teens are preparing for the school dance, and everyone has a date except Billy. He then bumps into a brainy girl named Marge, and the two hit it off immediately. But Rita's ally, Madame Woe, mistakes Marge for a Ranger and captures her. The actual Rangers come to her rescue, but can they save her, or will Billy remain dateless for the upcoming dance? Meanwhile, after Bulk crashes into the cake for the dance, he and Skull use disguises to sneak into the Youth Center to keep a low profile, but Ernie quickly catches them, and they are forced to pay for the cake if they want to return.

Howard is a scientist and a very experienced martial artist. The new kid in town, Tommy Oliver, has martial arts skills that rival Jason's. This catches Rita's eye, and she prepares her master plan to destroy the Power Rangers once and for all. She kidnaps Tommy, puts him under her spell, and by giving him a power coin, transforms him into the Evil Green Ranger. After infiltrating the Command Center and disabling Alpha and Zordon, Tommy beats the Rangers in battle, sending them to retreat back to their damaged headquarters.
With the Command Center still incapacitated from the Green Ranger's attack, and reeling from their first real defeat, Billy and Trini attempt to restore operations with Zordon to learn some answers about their mysterious foe. Meanwhile, Rita gives Tommy the Sword of Darkness, which acts as a catalyst for keeping him under her spell permanently. After he meets with Jason, Tommy teleports the Red Ranger to the Dark Dimension. Trapped, with no way out, no way of morphing, and no way of contacting his teammates, Jason faces Goldar alone. Back on Earth, the remaining Rangers face the Green Ranger again.
Jason continues his struggle with Goldar in the Dark Dimension, and eventually, the Green Ranger as well. Luckily, in the nick of time, Billy locks onto his signal and teleports him to safety. But with Zordon still lost, the victory is bittersweet. To make things worse, Rita summons Scorpina, a female warrior with a nasty sting. She fights the Rangers but is recalled by Rita as she reveals her master plan for permanently ridding the Rangers of their Zords. Phase One: Lure the Rangers out by unleashing a fully-grown Goldar.
Watching Goldar demolish the city via the viewing globe, the Rangers have no choice but to morph and activate Megazord--all part of Rita's plan. A spell eclipses the sun and cuts off Megazord's solar power reserves. Using her magic wand, Rita grows Scorpina and, soon after, the Green Ranger. The Megazord soon falls to the evil trio. The Zords separate and scatter into a fiery chasm opened by Rita. With their fighting spirit diminished, the Rangers return to the Command Center, where the true identity of the Green Ranger is revealed.
Tommy is revealed to be the Green Ranger, and Jason plans to break the spell holding him under Rita's control. Her endgame now realized, Rita brings forth the ancient Dragonzord from Angel Grove bay. It begins to rampage through the city, while the helpless Rangers watch the destruction unfold. Zordon's transmission is finally reestablished. The Megazord is recovered and victoriously faces the Dragonzord. With the Zord incapacitated, Jason defeats Tommy in a climactic swordfight before the latter joins the Rangers, having been freed from Rita's control.
22 22 "The Trouble with Shellshock" David Blyth Stewart St. John & Julianne Klemm October 11, 1993 (1993-10-11) 119
On the moon while Rita naps, Baboo and Squatt take charge by making a monster, a turtle with a stoplight on his back named Shellshock. This monster, when dispatched, proves to be a terrible menace to the Rangers and uses his "go" beam to put Trini in perpetual motion, speeding her away. Flashing his "stop" beam freezes Billy, Zack, and Kimberly, leaving Jason to stop Shellshock. Fortunately, he is not alone, as newcomer Tommy and his Dragonzord join the fight.
23 23 "Itsy Bitsy Spider" Robert Hughes Steve Kramer October 19, 1993 (1993-10-19) 120
Trini and Billy petition to save the Forest Spirit Statue from demolition. It supposedly protects the woods from nasty bug infestations. Rita swipes the statue and replaces it with a lookalike, which hides her Spidertron monster. Zack brings his young Hip-Hop Kido class to the park to work out nearby, and all but Zack are put under a sleeping spell by Spidertron, who soon reveals himself. Alas for Zack, he has a deathly fear of bugs, especially spiders. The Rangers morph, and the eight-legged menace grows. This results in the need to employ a new zord combination in this fight, Dragonzord in Battle Mode.
24 24 "The Spit Flower" David Blyth Peggy Nicoll October 13, 1993 (1993-10-13) 122
Kimberly designs a flower float for the big Angel Grove parade. But Putties drop by the Juice Bar and trash it before she can turn the design in. Kimberly soon has to face the evil flesh-eating, blossom-spewing Spit Flower monster. To make matters worse, the Rangers' Zords fail in stomping it, and even Tommy's powerful Dragonzord is useless in wilting this flower.
25 25 "Life's a Masquerade" Robert Hughes Cheryl Saban October 30, 1993 (1993-10-30) 123
A costume party is in progress at the Youth Center. Rita uses this distraction to mine a special clay on Earth, from which she plans to create Super Putties. She sends her own version of the Frankenstein Monster to the party, and he is immediately mistaken for Tommy. Billy, dressed as Sherlock Holmes, investigates and finds that Franken is no Tommy. This means that the time has come to morph.
26 26 "Gung Ho!" Robert Hughes Mark Hoffmeier November 4, 1993 (1993-11-04) 124
Jason and Tommy team-up for an upcoming Team Ninja competition at the Youth Center. However, they have trouble working together, as both are used to sparring one-on-one. Rita unleashes the Super Putties. As the other Rangers fight the nigh-invincible clay soldiers, Zordon sends Jason and Tommy to retrieve new weapons. They face a strange creature known as Titanus, and must learn teamwork in the face of adversity...or both of them will be killed.
27 27 "Wheel of Misfortune" Terence H. Winkless Mark Ryan & Cheryl Saban November 5, 1993 (1993-11-05) 127
The Rangers are involved with a play of Rumpelstiltskin at Angel Grove High. An antique spinning wheel that had belonged to Kimberly's grandmother is used as a prop, which leaves it in a position to be captured by Rita's goons, who turn it into the evil Wheel Of Misfortune. The Rangers have to bring a stop to the giant wheel without ruining Kimberly's family heirloom.

Before an upcoming dance competition, Zack, despite his usual smooth moves, has a massive case of self-doubt. Rita is inspired and aims to send the six Rangers to her very own transdimensional island, where a person's worst fears become a reality. She summons the celestial being Lokar and his wicked Mutitis creature, either the Megazord has to prove to be a match or the Rangers will be island-bound.
Trapped on the strange Island of Illusion, each of the Rangers comes face to face with their own worst fears. The island's only inhabitant, an elf named Quagmire, appears and offers them rhyming reminders of self-confidence, but whether he is friend or foe is not immediately apparent. Even if they can get off the island, the team will still have to face a second round against Mutitis...and they may not last that second round.
30 30 "The Rockstar" Terence H. Winkless Peggy Nicoll November 10, 1993 (1993-11-10) 130
Jason and his young cousin Jeremy become embroiled in a plot by Rita and Scorpina to capture the powerful Mirror of Destruction, while Zack takes the others on a driving trip outside Angel Grove. A Rockstar monster rounds out the cast. Jason is pummeled to the ground by this lobbing rock, and the others are recalled from vacation to rescue him. Jeremy finds the mirror, and, to his amazement, he finds that it can shatter Putties. This, however, also makes him a target for Scorpina.
31 31 "Calamity Kimberly" Terence H. Winkless Tom Wyner & Julianne Klemm November 11, 1993 (1993-11-11) 131
Kimberly wakes up on the wrong side of the bed and begins to have a terrible day. It becomes worse when Rita sends the Samurai Fan Man to Earth. He traps the bad-haired, ratty-clothed, annoyed Kimberly inside an urn, connected to another dimension. The Rangers race against the clock to free her before she is permanently lost inside it.
32 32 "A Star is Born" Terence H. Winkless Cheryl Saban November 15, 1993 (1993-11-15) 132
While Tommy is competing with Bulk for a role in a Karate commercial, the other Rangers take to the beach for some fun in the sun. Rita takes a day off, leaving Goldar to send a double threat: the cocooning menace of Scorpina's pet worm, and the baseball-fevered Babe Ruthless.
33 33 "The Yolk's on You!" Terence H. Winkless Cheryl Saban November 16, 1993 (1993-11-16) 133
Finster creates the Fang monster for Rita's birthday. The new beast becomes enraged, however, when Baboo and Squatt eat his delicious rare "Gooney Bird" eggs. Goldar lies to Fang, pinning the blame on the Rangers, turning his anger toward them, and it is no certainty whether they stand a chance without Tommy, whom Putties captured while he was on the way to Angel Grove High's big talent show.

Rita plans to use a magic candle, which, once burned out, will drain Tommy of the Green Ranger powers. Goldar kidnaps Tommy and holds him in the Dark Dimension. The other Rangers arrive at the Command Center, trying to devise a plan to rescue Tommy. However, a monster in disguise as Dragonzord called the Cyclops becomes the focus of their attention. They battle the impostor. Meanwhile, Tommy manages to escape and calls for the real Dragonzord, and the monster escapes. Back at the Command Center, Zordon explains the whole situation to the Rangers. While still under her spell, Tommy came into contact with the wax. Lord Zedd is introduced as the new arch-enemy of the Power Rangers. Angered by Rita's failures, Zedd returns to accomplish what she could not: destroy the Power Rangers. First, he removes her powers, imprisons her in the Dumpster again, and sets about to finally defeat the Rangers by creating a stronger Putty Patrol and a new monster Pirantishead, which sets out to immobilize the Dinozords. Not only this, but Bulk and Skull begin their quest to find out the true identities of the Power Rangers.
The Rangers' problems are further jeopardized when the Tyrannosaurus and the Dragonzord both turn on them and begin to wreak havoc. Responding to Zedd's return, Zordon unveils the more powerful Thunderzords. Only two problems remain. The Rangers must regain control of the Dinozords before activating the new ones, and due to Tommy's weakening powers, he is forced to retain the Dragonzord. Billy thinks he may have the answer, and along with Trini, retreats to his lab while the others return to the battlefield to confront Pirantishead, who has just reactivated the Zords. Bulk and Skull separate in their attempt to find the race track but find themselves at the wrong end of Pirantishead's flute when he takes control of their Quads.
The Rangers regain control of their Zords, thanks to Billy's newest invention, but Lord Zedd responds by using the powers of his staff to open up the Earth which proceeds to engulf the Dinozords. Tommy manages to return the Dragonzord to the sea before Zedd can react. However, Zordon and Alpha 5 succeed in salvaging the Dinozords and using the Power of Thunder, transform them into the powerful Thunderzords. Our heroes then combine the new zords into the Thunder Megazord and finish off Pirantishead once and for all.

He too heads for the deserted city, but leaves something behind on Earth: a device to put all of Angel Grove to sleep. Rocky, Adam, and Aisha have transferred to Angel Grove High and are in the middle of their first day when the other students begin to fall asleep. Zordon teleports them out just in time and sends them to destroy the device. They are ambushed by Putties, who tie them to a tree. At the deserted city, the Rangers search for the Sword of Light but are interrupted by Serpenterra. Jason summons the Red Dragon Thunderzord and Tor, the new carrier zord, to hold Zedd off while the search continues. They find the sword but have trouble freeing it from the Statue.
Rocky, Adam, and Aisha free themselves and destroy the Putties and the sleeping device. Meanwhile, the Rangers release the Sword of Light when Billy links the Ring and the Statue just as Zedd destroys the city. Back at the Command Center, the Rangers inform Zordon that Serpenterra proved fierce opposition, and Jason, Trini, and Zack announce that they plan to back out from the Peace Conference as they are needed as Rangers. Zordon tells them that their destiny lies outside the team now and as they succeeded in their final quest. The Rangers will continue with new Rangers in their place, and he presents them with the new Red, Black, and Yellow Rangers: Rocky, Adam, and Aisha. Using the Sword of Light, Tommy transfers the powers from Jason, Trini, and Zack, and the new Rangers appear morphed. Zordon thanks Jason, Zack, and Trini for their loyal service and wishes them well before they leave. Meanwhile, Zedd returns to Earth with Serpenterra to attack. The new team goes into action and summons the Thunderzords. At first, Serpenterra proves to be tough, but it has a flaw. It loses energy very quickly, and Zedd is forced to retreat. Back at the Command Center, the Rangers see Jason, Zack, and Trini off via the viewing globe and celebrate their first victory with Rocky, Adam, and Aisha.

Kimberly is still losing her powers and, ultimately, passes out. The other Rangers move to Angel Grove park to fight Incisorator sent by Zedd. Meanwhile, the Tengas attack Katherine to lure Kimberly into battle. Kimberly wakes up and teleports to Katherine to fight off the Tengas. Because Kimberly has been weakened due to the loss of her power coin, she is no match for the Tengas and gets beaten while Katherine watches. Goldar shows up and kidnaps Kimberly, who he brings to Lord Zedd. Zordon agrees to teleport Lord Zedd to the Command Center to talk about his demands. Zedd gives the Rangers two options: pilot his new evil Zords or Kimberly will be destroyed.
The Rangers agree to pilot Zedd's evil Shogunzords. Zedd teleports back to the moon and is having a party with Rita and Rito. Using the viewing globe, Billy locates the whereabouts of Kimberly. Tommy, using the device from "The Green Candle", goes to the dark dimension. Tommy finds Kimberly but gets intercepted by Zedd. Meanwhile, Rita sends the evil Shogunzords to Earth to be piloted by the Rangers. Billy, however, finds a way to override the controls using the power coins. In the dark dimension, Tommy finally beats Zedd, rescues Kimberly, and teleports back to Earth. Tommy teams up with the other Shogunzords and beats See monster.

He warns them about the effects of the Orb of Doom: if the villains secure it, time will be reversed, and they will be turned into children. The Rangers morph and split into two groups. Tommy, Rocky, and Kat face Rito, Goldar, and a group of Tengas, while Adam, Billy, and Aisha face another group of Tengas headed towards the carnival, being forced to use their Metallic Armor power-up to defeat them. While the Rangers are occupied, Rito secures the Orb of Doom. Tommy attempts to remove it but cannot penetrate its energy field. Vile activates the Orb, which reverses time on Earth and turns everyone in the vicinity (the Rangers, Bulk, Skull, Lt. Stone, and everyone at the carnival) into kids. Rita, Rito, Lord Zedd, and Goldar then make themselves grow and attack. The Ranger kids (who still remember being Rangers) attempt to morph, but their powers do not work with them as children, leaving them powerless to stop the giant villains.

Power Rangers Turbo is an American television series and the fifth season of the Power Rangers franchise. The show was prefaced with the franchise's second film, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie.[3] As with its predecessors, Power Rangers Turbo is a based on one of the entries of the Super Sentai Series; in Turbo's case, the source of the series is Gekisou Sentai Carranger. The series introduced a child actor as the new Blue Ranger,[4][5] and featured the departure of the long running characters Zordon and Alpha 5, as well the veteran team of Rangers, sans Justin, and introduced four new characters to take the place of the veteran Rangers.

Plot

After Maligore's defeat, Tommy Oliver, Kat Hillard, Adam Park and Tanya Sloan graduate from high school and prepare to resume life as normal. Seeking revenge, Divatox attacks the Rangers.[6] Soon after, the Rangers' longtime mentors, Zordon and Alpha 5 depart to return to Zordon's home planet of Eltar, making way for the spectral Dimitria of Inquiris and the next in the line of robots, Alpha 6. Other changes are also seen as Ernie leaves the series and Lt. Stone takes over the Juice Bar and Bulk and Skull are turned to chimps. Also the first ally Blue Senturion arrives later from the year 2000, with a message for Dimitria and the rangers that Lord Zedd, Rita, The Machine Empire and Divatox will team up to destroy the universe, but fails to show complete message due to Divatox corrupting it at the end of it, although it is believed to be Dark Specter.

Later, Tommy, Kat, Adam and Tanya are asked to pass on their powers to students T.J. Johnson, Cassie Chan, Carlos Vallerte and Ashley Hammond with Justin Stewart being the only remaining member of the team.[7] The New team of rangers are also joined by other allies such as the Phantom Ranger and a mysterious being from another world. The team eventually learns that Dark Specter has captured Zordon, though Zordon is able to warn the Rangers not to rescue him as it would leave the Earth defenseless. A short while later, the Rangers lose both Turbo and Rescue zords in a battle with the most powerful monster that Divatox created, Goldgoyle. As Dimitria and the Blue Senturion leave for Eltar to help Zordon, Divatox finds the Power Chamber's location. Her army of grunts and monsters infiltrate the Chamber, defeating the team and destroying the Power Chamber. However, before Divatox tries to finish off the Rangers, she receives a message that Zordon has been captured and the order of Dark Specter that they have to leave for the Cimmerian planet. The powerless Rangers then leave of Earth and head for space to save Zordon, with Justin choosing to stay behind with his father. Although Justin does make an appearance in an episode of Power Rangers in Space to help the space rangers. These events lead to the next incarnation of the franchise, entitled Power Rangers in Space.[8]

Power Rangers in Space is an American television series and the sixth season of the Power Rangers franchise, based on the Super Sentai series Denji Sentai Megaranger.[1]

As with all Power Rangers programs, in Space is based on one of the entries of the Super Sentai series. However, due to miscommunication between the United States and Japan as to the contents of the Sentai series, much of the space footage is original to the American adaptation. In Space was a turning point for the Power Rangers franchise, as the season brought closure to six seasons of plot, and it ended the practice of having regular cast members act in consecutive seasons. The theme of the series bears little similarity to its Sentai counterpart and its successor, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.

Though its initial tone was similar to that of Mighty Morphin and Power Rangers Zeo, Power Rangers in Space eventually took a darker, more emotional turn.

Synopsis

Picking up where Power Rangers Turbo left off, Dark Specter has captured Zordon and is beginning to completely drain his powers. An assortment of old and new villains praises his victory, but an unexpected figure uncovers his plan: the Red Space Ranger, Andros. Dark Specter orders the new Princess of Evil, Astronema, to eliminate Andros so he can't jeopardize her plans.

Meanwhile, four of the former Turbo Rangers (T.J., Cassie, Carlos and Ashley) and Alpha 6 are traveling in a NASADA space shuttle with the intent to save Zordon. They are pulled aboard the Astro Megaship and later encounter Andros. Though initially suspicious and dismissive of the four former Rangers, Andros realizes he'll need their help to save Zordon and gives them each an Astro Morpher. Additionally, modifications allow the NASADA space shuttle and the Astro Megaship to combine into the powerful Astro Megazord. The new Space Ranger team then returns to Earth for repairs and supplies, but are followed by Astronema.

The Space Rangers alternate between searching for Zordon and protecting Earth. From the Dark Fortress, Astronema seeks to eliminate them via Ecliptor (who raised her), Quantrons and a variety of monsters. (Elgar has also been added to her team, but he remains a comedic bungler.) Over time, allies (such as Phantom Ranger, Justin Stewart and Adam Park) offer the Rangers invaluable aid, with Zhane (the Silver Space Ranger) emerging from cryo-sleep and joining the team. New Zords are also introduced. Meanwhile, Bulk and Skull become assistants to eccentric Professor Phenomenus and join him in searching for aliens.

While dedicated to finding Zordon, Andros has another quest: finding his sister, Karone, who was kidnapped when they were children. Over time, Andros discovers his sister was kidnapped by Darkonda, an old rival of Ecliptor's with multiple lives. Much to Andros' surprise, it turns out that Karone is actually Astronema, who was raised by Ecliptor to be evil. Andros is able to convince Astronema of the truth and she defects with Ecliptor's help. Unfortunately, just as quickly, she (along with Ecliptor) is recaptured and reprogrammed to follow Dark Specter.

Astronema becomes more evil than ever, as she not only wants to destroy the Space Rangers, but also Dark Specter. To that end, she unleashes the Psycho Rangers. The five robotic (and borderline insane) villains possess great power, which secretly comes from Dark Specter. Every time they fight, Dark Specter is drained of power and grows weaker. Only through a great deal of effort are the six Space Rangers able to overcome the Psycho Rangers. Soon afterward, the Rangers suffer setbacks that see two Megazords destroyed, which are The Mega Voyager and Delta Megazord.

Everything culminates in the two-part finale, "Countdown to Destruction", where Zordon is nearly completely drained and Dark Specter orders the villains under his command to attack the entire universe. Across the universe, the Alien Rangers, Phantom Ranger, Blue Senturion, the Gold Zeo Ranger and KO-35 rebels are defeated and captured. The Space Rangers struggle to defend Earth, but are overwhelmed and forced to retreat. Even Zhane and his Zord, the Mega Winger, are no match. Darkonda and Dark Specter destroy each other, leaving Astronema in command as the "Queen of Evil." While Andros boards the Dark Fortress to appeal to his sister, the remaining five Space Rangers engage in one last fight for Earth and are even joined by the citizens of Angel Grove (with Bulk and Skull leading the charge).

On the Dark Fortress, Andros finds Zordon, who requests his energy tube be shattered. Doing so will release good energy that will destroy the forces of evil and save the universe, but also kill him. Following battles with Astronema and Ecliptor, Andros has no choice but to comply. The many monsters are subsequently turned to dust by the energy wave, while Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa, Divatox and Astronema are changed into normal, non-evil humans. With the universe now safe, T.J., Cassie, Carlos, Ashley and Alpha 6 intend to settle down on Earth. Though initially intending to remain on KO-35 with their people, Andros, Zhane and Karone decide to join their friends on Earth.

NOTE: At one point Astronema even goes to New York and brainwashes the Ninja Turtles into serving her. Though they succeed in infiltrating the Megaship, the Turtles are eventually freed from her control and assist the rangers in fighting Astronema off. They galaxy glide as a request before going back home. Although there had been a previous Ranger Team-up between the Zeo Rangers and the Aquitar Alien Rangers, it's believed by many that it was this event that inspired future Ranger team-ups.

Production

The original pre-bible for in Space, drafted before the start of Power Rangers Turbo second half, was placed online in June 2011. The first half includes synopses of Megaranger episodes, with a mix of Japanese names and intended US names, and a breakdown of how much sentai footage was "useable"; there is a list of weaponry and Zords introduced, how often they appear, and the monsters and how they are destroyed. It then goes on to set out the plans for the in Space adaptation.[2]

Both Astronema and Andros was originally absent, with the Phantom Ranger finding out about Dark Specter's plan instead, and Justin was going to remain in the team. Instead of losing their powers and base at the end of Turbo, the Rangers would be given their space powers by Dimitria (the Turbo mentor) so they could head into space and save Zordon. Their spacecraft would have had a limited power supply and could only be recharged by the Power Chamber on Earth, forcing them to keep returning; otherwise, they would hop from planet to planet, encountering new and returning villains, and picking up clues for Zordon's whereabouts. Divatox was still going to be the main recurring villain, with Ecliptor as her new second-in-command. Bulk and Skull formed a volunteer Citizen Force Group to try and protect Angel Grove while the Rangers were away. The Silver Ranger was the subject of debate, as Saban were unsure if they wanted to use him.[2]

In Space would have seen Carranger villain Exhaus used as Dark Specter - he would instead be the monster Goldgoyle for the end of Turbo. The Rangers were going to have a base in Earth orbit called the new Power Dome: it was to be realized by "a giant pyramid made of silky material... the walls of silk will change constantly with special effects lights creating the different moods". The "Space Station" (Astro Megaship) interior was going to recycle the Power Chamber set; footage would be shot for the villain's "Evil Platform" set ahead of time and used as recurring stock footage.[2]

This would be the last full season to feature the character of Skull (Jason Narvy). Narvy chose to leave the show to continue his college education. He would return briefly in the first episode of the following season, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, so that his character could be written off of the show. He would also return (along with Paul Schrier) for the Power Rangers Wild Force episode "Forever Red".

Due to the negative reaction and the ratings drop during the previous season, Power Rangers Turbo, In Space was originally written as the final season for the series.[3] In Space however, would end up being an unexpected success and with fan interest returning to the show and the continuation of the series.

Villains

<templatestyles src="Module:Hatnote/styles.css"></templatestyles>

Dark Specter
The "Grand Monarch of Evil", who all other villains fear, Dark Specter appears as a gigantic lava-monster. He is the leader of the United Alliance of Evil. He was shown to have the ability to shape shift. Dark Specter was responsible for the fall of Eltar, he managed to capture Zordon and proceeded to slowly drain his powers throughout the season. He nearly met his end with the creation of the Psycho Rangers, who drew their energy from the evil monarch every time they fought. He was killed in the finale by Darkonda, who had stolen a Velocifighter armed with an experimental laser. With his dying breath, he devoured Darkonda whole before exploding. Voiced by Christopher Grey.[6]
Astronema
The "Princess of Evil", Astronema is a sinister and ruthless villainess who was groomed as a child in the ways of evil. It is later discovered that she is in fact Karone, sister of Red Ranger Andros. She defected to the Rangers' side for a time, before being captured, brainwashed and given cybernetic implants which overwrote her emotions. As a result of this, her demeanor became cold, and even more ruthless and evil than before. She would later create the Psycho Rangers and link their powers directly to Dark Specter in an attempt to do away with the monarch and take power for herself. When Dark Specter is killed in the finale, she becomes the "Queen of Evil", she is seemingly killed accidentally during a confrontation with Andros, but is revived by Andros's tears. Portrayed by Melody Perkins.
Ecliptor
Voiced by Lex Lang (credited as Walter Lang). Astronema's guardian and surrogate father. He raised Astronema to be evil, caring for her like his own daughter. After Astronema learns her true identity, Ecliptor is given additional cybernetics that suppress his better nature and make him purely evil. Upon seeing Astronema seemingly slain by her brother, Ecliptor broke free of his programming to get revenge. Despite his fatherly affection for Astronema, Ecliptor was not spared by Zordon's energy wave.
Elgar
Divatox's idiotic, illiterate nephew. He was assigned to the Dark Fortress by Dark Spector, mostly to allow Divatox to move Zordon around the universe without his bumbling threatening to ruin things. Portrayed by Kenny Graceson and voiced by Derek Stephen Prince (credited as David Umansky).
Darkonda
A Bounty hunter who was responsible for kidnapping Karone as a child. Sadistic and treacherous, Darkonda was a rival of sorts to Ecliptor. He was given as many lives as a cat is said to have, but managed to lose all but one though bungling or being defeated. He planned to kill Dark Specter with the missile intended for Earth's destruction, but was swallowed by the evil monarch before he perished. Voiced by Steve Kramer.
Quantrons
Astronema's footsoliders. Appearing as silver robots with blades as their primary weapons. Like the Cogs before them, they pilot vehicles for attacks.
Craterites
Piranhatrons

  • Psycho Red: Portrayed and voiced by Patrick David (uncredited).
  • Psycho Black: Portrayed and voiced by Michael Maize (uncredited).

Power Rangers Lost Galaxy is an American television series and the seventh season of the Power Rangers franchise, based on the Super Sentai series Seijuu Sentai Gingaman.[1][2][3] The series was the first to follow the Sentai tradition of a new cast with each new series.

Synopsis

<templatestyles src="Module:Hatnote/styles.css"></templatestyles>

Set after the events of Power Rangers in Space, four young adults from Angel Grove (Leo, Mike, Kai, and Kendrix) are leaving for the space colony Terra Venture seeking a new world like Earth. They later meet a mechanic named Damon, and on the Moon, a jungle girl named Maya who leads them to five mystical swords known as the Quasar Sabers on her home planet of Mirinoi. After pulling the sabers out of a stone, one of the youths, Mike Corbett, falls into a crevice, but not before passing his saber onto his younger brother Leo Corbett.

With the Quasar Sabers, the teens transform into the Galaxy Power Rangers and use them to battle space villains from two different parts of the galaxy. These villains include Scorpius, Trakeena, Deviot and Captain Mutiny. Along the way, they discover several Zords known as Galactabeasts and make an ally in the form of the mysterious Magna Defender, a galactic warrior. Though he later dies, he manages to reveal that his host body is Mike Corbett and passes the Magna Defender powers to him.

When Deviot revives the evil Psycho Rangers, the Rangers of Power Rangers in Space show up to aid the Galaxy Rangers in destroying them. During this saga, Kendrix Morgan, the Pink Ranger, sacrifices herself to protect the Pink Space Ranger and Terra Venture from Psycho Pink. Karone, sister of the Red Space Ranger Andros and former evil princess Astronema, is given the powers of the Pink Galaxy Ranger from Kendrix (who appears as a spirit), and joins the Rangers in the battle to protect Terra Venture.

Deviot later reads secret words from the Galaxy Book; sending Terra Venture and himself into the "Lost Galaxy". Here the Rangers encounter Captain Mutiny and his Swabbies. These space traveling pirates live on the back of a massive space faring dragon inside a castle. Deviot reemerges and joins the Captain's fight against the Rangers and attempts to turn all of the citizens of Terra Venture into his slaves for the purposes of mining for "Booty".The colony escapes the galaxy after Mike sacrifices his powers to keep a portal open.

After this, Deviot returns to Trakeena, but, by this time, she has learned of his treachery and tries to destroy him, chasing him through the ship and into the cocoon that Scorpius made fusing them together and driving Trakeena insane and, using her army armed with bombs, cripple Terra Venture and destroys the Stratoforce and Centaurus Megazords. This forces the colony's people to evacuate to a nearby planet. Trakeena gives chase but the Rangers destroy her ship by self-destructing the Astro Megaship, but the explosion leaves Leo stranded on the moon. Trakeena, who survives the blast also, albeit scarred and injured, finally reaches her breaking point and uses the cocoon to transform into an insectoid creature to enter Terra Venture's wreck and use her power to set it on a crash course to the planet below to destroy it and the people below. Leo enters and soon followed by the other Rangers try to stop her, but are slowly overmatched by Trakeena's new power. She is only defeated after Leo, using his Battlizer, blasts her at point-blank range nearly destroying himself in the process. By this time the colony is nearly crashed but the Galaxy Megazord diverts its course and lands it on a large clearing in an explosion, the colonists, having feared the worse for the Rangers, are relieved and overjoyed when they come out of the explosion on the Galactabeasts. After this, the Zords reveal to the Rangers they had landed on is Mirinoi and return the sabers to the stone altar. This restores its petrified inhabits and, to the joy of the Rangers, restore Kendrix as well. After this the colonists settle on Mirinoi as the series ends.

The character Kendrix (Valerie Vernon) was killed off mid-way through the season, marking the first time that a Ranger was killed off in the series. Kendrix was written out of the show so actress Vernon could be treated for leukemia. Her treatment was successful and she returned for the season finale.[4]

Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue is an American television series and the eighth season of the Power Rangers franchise, based on the Super Sentai series Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGoFive.[1]

It was the first incarnation of Power Rangers to have the Rangers identities to be known to the public from the outset, as opposed to previous incarnations where a Ranger's identity was to be kept secret, revealed only in extreme circumstances. The series was also the first in which the Rangers' powers, Zords, and weapons were entirely manmade and had no mystical or extraterrestrial origin whatsoever.[2][3]

Lightspeed Rescue also had, for the first time, a Power Ranger with no Super Sentai counterpart in the Titanium Ranger, as there was no regular sixth Ranger in GoGo V. It is the last Saban Entertainment-produced Power Rangers series to feature the main villain from its Super Sentai counterpart, until the premiere of Power Rangers Samurai. The next series to feature the main villain from its Super Sentai counterpart would be the Disney-produced Power Rangers Mystic Force, which premiered six years later.

Synopsis

<templatestyles src="Module:Hatnote/styles.css"></templatestyles>

The series takes place in the fictitious city of Mariner Bay, California, which was built on an ancient demon burial ground. When the demons were accidentally released from their tomb in the desert, they threaten to destroy Mariner Bay. Therefore, a government organization called Lightspeed Rescue, headed by Captain William Mitchell, recruits four civilians and his own daughter to defend the city. Each of the four civilians chosen had a special area of expertise: Carter Grayson, the Red Lightspeed Ranger, was a fire fighter in the local fire department; Chad Lee, the Blue Lightspeed Ranger, worked as a lifeguard and marine animal trainer at a local aquarium and a marine amusement park; Joel Rawlings, the Green Lightspeed Ranger, was a stunt pilot; Kelsey Winslow, the Yellow Lightspeed Ranger, was an extreme sports athlete; and Dana Mitchell, the Captain's daughter, who agreed to become the Pink Lightspeed Ranger, was a nurse and practiced medical arts. The five Power Rangers were aided by a team of scientists and engineers led by Miss Angela Fairweather, and operated out of the Lightspeed Aquabase, an underwater military compound that also deters the hydrophobic demons from directly attacking the base.

The five Rangers would be joined by Captain Mitchell's (long thought to be dead) son, Ryan Mitchell, who would become the Titanium Ranger. Together, the six Rangers would prevail against the demon forces time after time, culminating in a final showdown where, in the Power Rangers tradition, all of the Zords and much of the weapons and other equipment that was used by the Power Rangers over the series was destroyed.

In addition, Lightspeed Rescue featured a reunion reappearance of characters from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, when the villainess Trakeena comes to Earth to destroy it and the Lightspeed Rangers team up with the Galaxy Rangers.

Power Rangers Time Force is an American television series and the ninth season of the Power Rangers franchise, based on the Super Sentai series Mirai Sentai Timeranger, running for 40 half-hour episodes from February to November 2001.[1] It was the last full season to completely air on Fox Kids following the sale of Fox Family Worldwide, which included Fox Family, Fox Kids and Saban Entertainment being purchased by The Walt Disney Company.

Originally, a Time Force film was planned, but ultimately went unproduced in light of the commercial failure of Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie and the purchase of the franchise by Disney. A Power Rangers Time Force video game was released in November 2001 for Sony PlayStation, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and PC.

Plot

<templatestyles src="Module:Hatnote/styles.css"></templatestyles>

In the year 3000, Time Force is a police agency that deals with the crimes of mutants, outcasts of society who have developed super powers. Ransik, one of the most dangerous mutants, is arrested and sentenced to life for his crimes including murder and the plan to travel back in time to take over the world. However, after sentencing, he escapes and manages to go back in time to the year 2001, but seemingly kills Alex, the Red Time Force Ranger, in the process. Alex's fiance Jen, as well as Time Force members Lucas, Katie, and Trip, decide to break protocol and go back in time after Ransik. However, upon arriving in the year 2001, they find that the rest of the Time Force morphers are locked, and cannot be used until someone with Alex's DNA uses the Red Ranger morpher. To that end, they find Alex's ancestor Wes Collins, who unlock the morphers, and then helps them battle Ransik's army of mutants as the Time Force Power Rangers, though Wes and Jen, upset over Alex's death, don't see eye-to-eye initially.

As Ransik continues his quest for total domination of Earth, archaeologists discover a box that, unknown to them, contains the Quantum Ranger morpher and powers. Both Ransik and the Rangers are well aware of its contents, and make attempts to retrieve it. The box eventually falls into the hand of Eric Myers, a member of the Silver Guardians, the city's police force managed by Wes' father, Mr. Collins and Wes's old rival. Eric activates the power, and becomes the Quantum Ranger. Eric, however, becomes cocky and irresponsible with his power, forcing Wes and the Rangers to try and get it back from him; however, Eric defeated them and he kept his powers. Soon he learns the responsibility of using the Quantum Powers and becomes the leader of the Silver Guardians as the Quantum Ranger.

Eventually, the Rangers begin receiving help from an unseen ally from the future in the form of the Time Shadow Megazord. Soon, this ally arrives in 2001 and reveals himself to be Alex, stating that he is alive because something the Rangers have done in the present has altered the future, and that he has returned to fix it. Alex reveals to Wes what was meant to happen in the original timeline and encourages him to take action to set it right. Wes reluctantly agrees, and relinquishes control of his morpher to Alex so he can take care of his father's business while his father lays ill. Alex then briefly leads the team, but his relationship with the Rangers becomes strained when they realize Alex has changed. Alex eventually realizes that Wes is the true Red Ranger and, having nearly destroyed his relationship with Jen, returns the morpher.

When Ransik makes his final assault on Earth, with a powerful army in large amounts Alex orders the Rangers to return to the future, for fear that if they hesitate, they may not be able to return at all. Wes, however, would have to remain behind. The Rangers refuse, and fight Ransik alongside Wes, who, knowing his friends can't stay, forces them into returning to the year 3000, leaving only himself and Eric to stop Ransik, or die trying. When the Rangers return to the future, they learn that Silver Hills was saved, but Wes died in the process. The Rangers are ordered to have their minds erased of their memories from 2001, and encouraged to resume their lives. Angered, Jen returns Alex's engagement ring, and the Rangers return to 2001 to help Wes and Eric. During the final battle, Ransik accidentally injures his daughter Nadira and, traumatized over nearly killing her, surrenders to the Rangers. Right before the Rangers return Ransik and Nadira to the future, Wes and Jen, having soothed over their initially rocky relationship, profess their love for one another. As the Rangers depart, Wes stays behind with Eric to co-command the Silver Guardians. They later meet the rangers from Power Rangers Wild Force in the two-part episode "Reinforcements from the Future".

Power Rangers Wild Force is an American television series and the tenth season and anniversary of the Power Rangers franchise, based on the Super Sentai series Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, which itself was the 25th anniversary of Super Sentai.[1]

Power Rangers Wild Force takes place in 2002. The first part of the series was originally broadcast from February to August 2002 on the Fox Kids television block. Following the sale of Fox Family Worldwide (renamed ABC Family Worldwide) including Saban Entertainment (renamed BVS Entertainment) to Disney by Haim Saban and News Corporation, Fox Network's parent company, the show was moved in the fall 2002 to ABC's new Saturday morning block, ABC Kids (formerly Disney's One Saturday Morning).

Wild Force was the first and only season to be under the copyright of Disney Enterprises. Disney had bought Power Rangers (along with other Saban properties) at the end of Power Rangers Time Force. It was the last season to be produced in the United States by MMPR Productions as pre-production for Wild Force began before the buyout as well as they still had a contract for Fox Kids. When this programming block expired, the series moved to ABC Kids in September 2002. Following this season, production of the Power Rangers franchise moved from Los Angeles, California to New Zealand which resulted in many crew members and all voice actors being laid off.

Plot summary

<templatestyles src="Module:Hatnote/styles.css"></templatestyles>

The series follows the adventure of Cole Evans, who had been staying with a tribe in a jungle for many years, as he tries to find his destiny in the fictitious town of Turtle Cove. He encounters the Animarium, a place that many believed to be a fairy tale. He joins four others who had a common path to become the new leader of the Wild Force Power Rangers.

The Animarium is an island that floats in the sky. It is shaped like a turtle and is the home of the Wild Zords and the Princess Shayla, the Rangers' mentor. (It is unclear how the Rangers travel between the Animarium and the Earth surface, but in one of the last episodes Merrick and Kite are teleported onto the Animarium, so presumably they used the same teleportation throughout the rest of the series.)

The Power Rangers use their powers to defeat the forces of the Orgs, led by one Master Org. As Cole was fond of other animals, he was shocked to discover that the Orgs were heartless monsters. As the series continues, he finds out the truth about his real parents: his parents, Richard and Elizabeth Evans, were professors at Turtle Cove University, along with a family friend, Viktor Adler. When they were sent to the jungle for research, they discover the remains of Master Org, in which a jealous Adler consumes in order to exact revenge on Richard, who had proposed to Elizabeth before he could. However, Adler goes insane, and kills both Richard and Elizabeth. For a while, their newborn son, Cole, was also presumed dead.

In addition to the annual team-up episodes, Power Rangers Wild Force also had a special episode commemorating it as the tenth incarnation, Forever Red, by having Cole team up with the nine Red Rangers before him, (in order of incarnations, Jason Lee Scott, Aurico, Thomas "Tommy" Oliver, Theodore Jay "T.J." Jarvis Johnson, Andros, Leonard "Leo" Corbett, Carter Grayson, Wesley "Wes" Collins and Eric Myers), in order to prevent the remaining generals of the Machine Empire from unearthing and reactivating Lord Zedd's zord, Serpentera, which had been left buried on the moon.

Power Rangers Ninja Storm is an American television series and the eleventh season of the Power Rangers franchise, based on the Super Sentai series Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger. This is the first season to be filmed in New Zealand and also the second season to be under the BVS copyright. This is the first season not produced by MMPR Productions. This series is unique in the fact that it was the first to feature only one female Ranger serving on the team (although the 10-episode mini-series Alien Rangers featured only one female Ranger), the first season to not have an African American Ranger, the first season where the Blue Ranger was female, the second, (first full) season where the Yellow Ranger was male and was the first season to begin the series with three Rangers instead of five like the previous seasons, and also the first and only season to have a crimson and navy ranger.[1][2] This was the first series to air on ABC in its entirety. This season did not have a Power Rangers team up episode like the five before it due to a shift back to non-SAG talent when production was moved to New Zealand from Los Angeles. This is the third series to air under Saban Brands on Nicktoons, which began on June 1, 2012.

Synopsis

<templatestyles src="Module:Hatnote/styles.css"></templatestyles>

Shane, Tori and Dustin are three students at the Wind Ninja Academy. Their less than stellar performance gets them the occasional lecture from their Sensei. One day, the academy was attacked by Lothor, a banished ninja master who has returned to capture all ninja students. Shane, Tori and Dustin are the only three remaining students, and along with Sensei, who has been transformed into a guinea pig by Lothor, and his son Cam, retreat into the underground Ninja Ops. There, the three are given morphers, which allow them to transform into Wind Rangers and protect the city of Blue Bay Harbor from Lothor's forces.

When Lothor demonstrates his ability to make his monsters grow into giants, the Rangers unleash the Ninja Zords, which could combine into the Storm Megazord and destroy monsters with its arsenal of Power Spheres. Lothor again raises the stakes by sending his new allies to battle the Wind Rangers - the Thunder Rangers, Blake and Hunter, who had their own Thunder Zords. The Thunder Rangers are on a mission to destroy the Wind Rangers' Sensei, who they believed to be responsible for their parent's death, but a visit from the afterlife from Blake and Hunter's parents show them the truth - that it was Lothor who killed them. The Thunder Rangers see the error of their ways and join the Wind Rangers in the battle against Lothor, bringing the Thunder and Ninja Zords together to form the Thunderstorm Megazord.

When the Rangers lose their powers, Cam uses the Scroll of Time to travel into the past and retrieve the Samurai Amulet, a family heirloom in the possession of his late mother. Cam travel back to present day and uses the amulet to become the Green Samurai Ranger, armed with the Samurai Star. A lost scroll would later reveal to Cam the Lightning Riff Blaster, which could summon the Mighty Mammoth Zord.

Lothor attempts to open the Abyss of Evil and release its evil into the world. In a final battle, he steals all of the Rangers' powers, but is defeated by their ninja skills and thrown into the abyss. After the battle the powerless Rangers became ninja teachers at Sensei's Ninja Academy.

Power Rangers Dino Thunder is an American children's television series, the twelfth season of the Power Rangers franchise. As with all Power Rangers series, it was adapted from a series from the long running Japanese Super Sentai franchise, in this case the 27th entry, Bakuryū Sentai Abaranger.[1] Dino Thunder was also the subtitle of the Korean dub of Abaranger in South Korea and had a similar/identical logo to the American version as well. The series is notable as it features the return of Jason David Frank to a starring role.[2][3]

Currently, 23 of the 38 episodes are available in various volumes on DVD in Region 1, whereas a complete box set was released in Region 2 in July 2008. Shout! Factory has released the entire series as part of their "Seasons 8 - 12" DVD box set. There are plans for individual releases as well.

Plot summary

<templatestyles src="Module:Hatnote/styles.css"></templatestyles>

A soccer player, a computer expert, a singer, an artist, and a teacher with a long history of such situations join forces to become Power Rangers and help save the Earth from the scheming of Mesagog, a dinosauric villain who wishes to eradicate all human life and return Earth to the age of dinosaurs.

In this season, Tommy Oliver, from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Power Rangers Turbo fame, returns as a paleontology professor in Reefside, California. When he is assigned three detention students, Conner, Ethan, and Kira, they end up finding the Dino Gems, paving the way for them to become the Dino Rangers. Conner gains the power of the Tyrannozord (based on the Tyrannosaurus), as well as super-speed; Ethan gains the power of the Tricerazord (based on the Triceratops), as well as the ability to make his skin invulnerable; and Kira gains the power of the Pterazord (based on the Pteranodon), as well as a sonic scream. Tommy (known often as Dr. O) himself once again becomes a Power Ranger by joining the team as the Black Dino Ranger with the power of invisibility, and they are also later joined by Trent Mercer as the White Dino Ranger, with the powers of invisibility and camouflage, respectively. Trent must deal with the inner struggle of good and evil, as Tommy himself once had to do as the evil Green Ranger, due to the fact that he gained his powers from a raw Dino Gem in Mesogog's lab, with the powers originally intended to be Mesogog's. Mesogog is in fact, Trent's adopted father Anton Mercer, who, in a faulty lab experiment, began to mutate into Mesogog. Trent later sides with good and saves his father from the mutation.

During the course of the series, the team adds the following to its arsenal of Zords: Cephalozord (based on the Pachycephalosaurus), Dimetrozord (based on the Dimetrodon), Stegozord (based on the Stegosaurus), Parasaurzord (based on the Parasaurolophus), and Ankylozord (based on the Ankylosaurus). The Stegozord later combines with Trent's zord, the Dragozord (based on the Tupuxuara), to form the Dino Stegozord. Tommy pilots the Brachiozord (based on the Brachiosaurus), the carrier for all the other Zords. Conner is also given the power to become the Triassic Ranger, and pilots the Mezodon Rover/Megazord (based on the Styracosaurus), which can combine with the Cephalo, Dimetro, Parasaur and Ankylozords to form the Triceramax Megazord.

At the end of the series, the Rangers destroy Mesogog with their raw Dino Gem power, but the gems are burned out in the process. Just before this, they are also forced to sacrifice all the Zords in their last battle with Zeltrax, one of Mesogog's strongest minions.

Production

Due to the mention that Power Rangers solely existed as a comic book in Power Rangers Ninja Storm, many fans believed that series existed in a different universe than that of the original Power Rangers series. (However, Power Rangers in Space had previously mentioned a Ranger-based comic book in its crossover with Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation). Fans also believed this due to the lack of a Ninja Storm/Wild Force team-up episode, partly due to the actors refusing to come since much of the production crew had been laid off as well as the change in hands of the Power Rangers franchise from Saban to Disney and filming locations from United States to New Zealand. Executive producer Douglas Sloan also received heavy criticism for not tying Ninja Storm in with the original universe.

To tie up all of the loose Ninja Storm ends, and to try to bring in a larger audience, Sloan brought back Jason David Frank and his original character, the once evil turned hero, green, white, red, and now black ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers through Power Rangers Turbo, Tommy Oliver, a legendary Power Ranger, as a mentor for the new team as well as a fellow Power Ranger. Jason Frank has said that he did the show as a favor for Sloan. Through the episodes "Legacy of Power" (the 500th episode overall), a look back on all of the previous Power Rangers series; "Back in Black", giving Tommy new Power Ranger powers; "Fighting Spirit", seeing Tommy encounter his previous Ranger forms and airing on the eleventh anniversary of Power Rangers no less; and "Thunder Storm", a team-up arc between Dino Thunder and Ninja Storm, all previous series were included in the original Power Rangers universe.

Also in the season premiere "Day of the Dino", Mesogog knew of Lothor as he mentioned Reefside would believe he had returned to town, although Blue Bay Harbor was Lothor's target in Ninja Storm. However considering Conner's twin brother attended the Wind Ninja Academy it is possible the two towns are relatively nearby one another, explaining Mesogog's statement.

Dino Thunder also was the first Power Rangers series to overtly acknowledge its Super Sentai roots with an episode entitled "Lost and Found in Translation," which featured a Japanese show based on the Power Rangers dubbed in English. In actuality, the footage used in that episode was from episode 10 ("Abare League Bind") of Dino Thunder's source series, Bakuryū Sentai Abaranger, dubbed in a manner similar to the comedic parody dub of Kagaku Sentai Dynaman in the late 1980s.

Special episodes

  • Near the beginning of the series, Tommy is kidnapped by Mesogog. While searching his computer in an attempt to find him, Connor, Kira, and Ethan come across a chronological history of the Power Rangers, going through every season and incarnation except Alien Rangers. The episode, "Legacy of Power," was the 500th episode of Power Rangers, and the history was meant as a celebration of the milestone.
  • SPD featured two crossover episodes: History and Wormhole.
  • In the Power Rangers Operation Overdrive episode Once a Ranger, Kira returns when the Sentinel Knight brings Rangers from the past (with the exception of Bridge Carson from Power Rangers SPD, who is now the Red Ranger since he was promoted) to form the Retro Power Rangers.

Video games

There were two games produced for Dino Thunder. On the Game Boy Advance, there was a sidescrolling game, which was a platformer involving fighting several villains from the series. The other game was produced for the PlayStation 2 and the Nintendo GameCube. This was the first Power Rangers game produced on a sixth generation console. All the action takes place inside the zords. This game also had some inconsistencies with the television series to allow the action to take place in the zords while battling the regular enemies who were human size.

Power Rangers S.P.D. is an American television series and the thirteenth season of the Power Rangers franchise, based on the Super Sentai series, Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger. It debuted on February 5, 2005, on ABC Family. New episodes continued to debut on ABC Family until the episode "Messenger, Part 1". Starting with "Messenger, Part 2" episodes began to debut on Toon Disney.[2][3] It is also the title for the Korean dub of Dekaranger in South Korea, whose logo is similar to the American series. S.P.D. stands for "Space Patrol Delta"; in Dekaranger, it stood for Special Police Dekaranger, and in the South Korean dub of Dekaranger, it stood for Special Police Delta. A Japanese dub of S.P.D. started airing on Toei's digital television channel in Japan starting in August 2011, with two DVD volumes released on August 5. It features the original Japanese Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger cast members dubbing over the voices of their American counterparts.[4]

Synopsis

12 out of the 14 S.P.D. Rangers.

<templatestyles src="Module:Hatnote/styles.css"></templatestyles>

The story takes place in the year 2025, after Earth has welcomed alien beings to live peacefully with the human race. However, peace is short lived as the planet-conquering Troobian Empire turns its destructive attention to Earth. When the Earth's first line of defense, the S.P.D. A-Squad, vanishes without a trace, the protection of the planet falls to their replacements: the B-Squad Rangers, and their dog-like alien commander, Anubis "Doggie" Cruger.

When two reformed thieves join the team as the Red and Yellow S.P.D. Rangers, tensions threaten to tear them apart. With the alien threat growing stronger every moment, the Rangers must put aside their differences and go into action as one.

Using teamwork, intergalactic weaponry and light-speed Zord vehicles to battle evil, they unite to become one of the ultimate forces for good: Power Rangers Space Patrol Delta.

Video game

<templatestyles src="Module:Hatnote/styles.css"></templatestyles>

There was one game produced for the Space Patrol Delta series, a side-scroller on the Game Boy Advance by THQ. The 6 rangers fight minor enemies until they encounter the main boss. There are racing levels which involve piloting the Red, Yellow, or Pink Delta Runners, a Space Invaders style targeting game with the Green Delta Runner, a racing level involving R.I.C. (the Rangers' robotic dog), and Megazord battle levels.

Comic strip

A new monthly comic strip based on the series appeared every issue of Jetix Magazine in the UK in 2005. Jetix Magazine is the official magazine of Jetix, the channel that shows S.P.D. in the UK. The strip was the first Power Rangers strip to be written by Transformers writer Simon Furman, collaborating for the first time on the PR strip with equally popular TF artist Andrew Wildman, who had previously done artwork for other Power Rangers strips under Jetix Magazines' previous banner of Fox Kids' Wicked. The strip ended with its own conclusion to the SPD series, the first time any comic strip version of Power Rangers has dared to pull off a different take on a PR finale. In the strip, A-Squad are brainwashed instead of corrupted and turn against their superiors. The B-Squad regulars deal with them and help Cruger defeat and overcome both Grumm and Omni, before being promoted to A-Squad status.

During the course of the strip, a running sub-plot involving a rogue Krybot who had become self-aware and rebelled against Grumm gradually unfolded, he would resurface to warn SPD of Grumm's invasion attempt in the final story and supply Jack with a device that once inserted on the Terror, would incapacitate the Krybot fleet.

Unlike "Endings", Jack does not leave the team, in another change, the Rangers do not decline the position of A-Squad (in the season, the rank of A-Squad was discarded in light of the previous team tarnishing it with their treacherous ways).

Production

Power Rangers S.P.D. is notable for the return of original Power Rangers composer Ron Wasserman who returned to score the season. This was the first time Wasserman had been involved with the franchise since Power Rangers in Space (1998).

Notes

  1. Note: Wormhole aired out of production order in early February 2006 in the US, but is not officially considered the season finale.

Power Rangers Mystic Force is an American television series and the fourteenth season of the Power Rangers franchise, based on the Super Sentai series, Mahou Sentai Magiranger. As with all Power Rangers series, the show is adapted from a series in the long-running Japanese tokusatsu franchise.

The series officially premiered on February 20, 2006 on Toon Disney/Jetix, February 25, 2006 on ABC Family, March 11, 2006 on ABC as part of the ABC Kids programming block, on June 4, 2006 on Family in Canada, on October 2, 2006 on Jetix in India, October 21, 2006 on Jetix in the United Kingdom. The show was also broadcast on Sunday morning on ITV1 and the CITV Channel under the GMTV Toonattik slot in early 2007. In the Philippines it premiered on October 6, 2007 in Cartoon Network's Toonami slot.

Power Rangers Mystic Force is the first and only Disney-produced Power Rangers series to feature the main villain in its Super Sentai counterpart, and is the first of the Disney-produced Power Rangers series in which all the actors playing the five core Rangers are of Australian or New Zealander descent (the casts of the three Disney-produced Power Rangers series prior to Mystic Force had at least one Ranger actor of North American descent). It is also the only Power Rangers series in which the Rangers wear capes. This is the second Disney series that does not have a teamup with the previous season's rangers. The first was Power Rangers Ninja Storm. In Mystic Force's case, the missing crossover would have been with Power Rangers S.P.D. However, a character from that series, Piggy cameoed in the episode "Ranger Down".

Plot

<templatestyles src="Module:Hatnote/styles.css"></templatestyles>

Twenty years ago, in a magic-filled dimension parallel world to our own, the forces of darkness came into power and a war called the "Great Battle" between good and evil began. An army of the monsters, led by a powerful warrior named Morticon, swarmed into the land with their sights set on taking over the magical realm, the human realm and beyond, but they would have to combat a legion of brave and powerful wizards. The Mystics battled valiantly against overwhelming odds until they drove the evil back from the edge of the human world. The strongest wizard of all, Leanbow, cast a spell and sent the evil warriors into the Underworld, having the Gatekeeper seal the gates for all eternity. The forces of truth successfully thwarted the dark forces' attempt to take the surface world, but they lost Leanbow, as he made sure the evil forces did not escape by sealing himself on their side of the Gate. The human world would never know of the Great Battle, nor of the sacrifices made to spare their lives from destruction. Even to this day they live in peace and tranquility, totally unaware of what is about to awaken.

The city of Briarwood was struck by an earthquake, which was just enough to crack the seal, allowing evil to renew its attempt to invade the earth. The sorceress Udonna, realizing that the forces of evil had returned, sought out the warriors of legend, five teens living in Briarwood, to become the Power Rangers alongside her. While one of the teens was reluctant at first, he realized his destiny and joined the others in the fight against the Master of the Underworld and his numerous minions.

When Udonna loses her Ranger powers to the mysterious Koragg, it is up to Nick, Chip, Xander and sisters Madison and Vida, to save the Earth on their own. They are assisted by Udonna's bumbling apprentice Clare, and eventually Jenji the Genie and his master Daggeron, the Solaris Knight.

Using their powerful magic and incredible martial arts skills, the Mystic Force Power Rangers must rely on teamwork to save the day. Later, in a shocking surprise, it is revealed that Koragg is none other than Leanbow, the greatest and strongest of all wizards. The good power that was taken from Udonna helps Koragg into turning into his normal self, and he uses his powers to transform into the most powerful defender of truth, the Wolf Warrior. In the end,Leanbow and Daggeron are supposedly killed in a battle with the evil master and the rangers lose their magical powers for initially destroying the Evil Master's body. After this, Necrolai turns good and with the help of a good monster from Evil Master's team destroys the more poerful minion of the Mater. She then revives Leanbow and Daggeron, sacrificing her powers in the process and turning into a normal woman. After that the people of Briarwood join with the rangers and transfer their good faith to the rangers, thus returning them their power which would never be enough. The rangers then destroy the Master, after which Nick, Udonna and Leanbow leave Briarwood to meet Nick's adoptive parents, not before Nick promises Madisson that he would return for her, implying that they would get marries in the future.

Power Rangers Operation Overdrive is the fifteenth season and anniversary of the American television franchise Power Rangers. It uses footage and other material from the Super Sentai series GoGo Sentai Boukenger, which was also the thirtieth entry and anniversary of that franchise. It premiered on February 26, 2007.[1] Operation Overdrive is broadcast on Toon Disney's Jetix programming block and ABC Kids in the United States, and on stand-alone Jetix networks in other countries. The program is a co-production between The Walt Disney Company and Toei. It was also broadcast on terrestrial network ITV in the UK.

Unique among Power Ranger series, Operation Overdrive has the Rangers exploring, operating and fighting in many different countries around the world, rather than focusing only on their home city of San Angeles. In search of their objective, the Rangers have been to Atlantis, unnamed islands in the Atlantic and Pacific, Saint Lucia, Istanbul, London, Portugal, Indonesia, Norway, Mexico, Egypt, Florida, Greece and Japan. To specifically battle villainous attacks, they have visited Rotuma Island, Australia, Brazil, and Stonehenge.

Pre-production

The early working title for the series was Power Rangers Drive Force, but was later changed to "Relic Hunters" and then "Operation Overdrive"[2]

In early pre-production, on July 26, 2006, the series' logo was posted on a fan message board called "Fuñaroboard." [3] This same logo was later featured on the Disney website, RangerSecrets.com, as part of the preview for the series.[4] The logo is very similar to that of the parent series Boukenger in the basic design and format.

On November 14, 2006, Disney had set up its official website for Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.[5]

Synopsis

<templatestyles src="Module:Hatnote/styles.css"></templatestyles>

Five brave, skilled, and adventurous young people are chosen to search for several magical jewels that were long ago taken from the Corona Aurora (literally "Crown of the Dawn"), so as to prevent them from coming into the possession of Moltor and Flurious, who are brothers connected to ice and fire banished long ago by the Corona's guardian for having attempted to steal it.[6] When the billionaire explorer Andrew Hartford discovered the Corona Aurora, they escaped their exile and rallied their allies. In response, Andrew Hartford selected the talented youths and modified their DNA so as to grant them exceptional physical powers by which to combat the evil. Although Moltor and Flurious initially attempted to work together, they soon became rivals. The Corona Aurora fell into Moltor's hands; yet without its jewels, it could not grant the owner universal power. Later, the evil warriors Kamdor and Miratrix began hunting for the jewels, as did the extraterrestrial 'Fearcats'. Now the Rangers, joined by a Mercurian named Tyzonn who joined their ranks as the Mercury Ranger, are forced to fight multiple villains and travel worldwide in the effort to capture the jewels before their enemies can.

In order to accomplish this purpose, the members of Operation Overdrive are equipped with futuristic technology similar to that featured in previous Power Ranger continuities, which improves in sophistication and power with successive episodes. Each time a new Ranger, new weapon, or (in one subplot, if not more) new reason for battle is introduced, that Ranger, weapon, or reason produces the decimation of one major enemy (such as Kamdor and Miratrix) or a host of foot soldiers. Thereafter the odds resume their former state. The physical powers granted by genetic modification are seldom used, seen, or mentioned, except when one or more Rangers is rescued by their use. Throughout the series, legends are included or invented to give a feeling of antiquity: these include Thor's Hammer, Atlantis and Poseidon, who is mentioned under the Roman name, Neptune.

Artifacts

Both the Rangers and villains travel the world in search of the Corona jewels. To aide them, they must uncover special relics that serve as clues that lead to the lost jewels.

  • Corona Aurora: The Corona Aurora is a crown, resembling that worn in medieval Europe, but claimed to be of divine origin. It is also commonly called The Crown of the Gods. To prevent its capture by those of negative interest, the Sentinel Knight scattered the crown's jewels across Earth. At the opening of the film series, the crown was in Andrew's possession, from which was stolen by Moltor. Following the destruction of Moltor's lair, ownership of the crown passed to Flurious, who then added one jewel to it. After stealing the remaining four jewels from the Rangers, Flurious completed the Corona Aurora. Flurious used its power to battle the Rangers, but was destroyed by Mack. The Sentinel Knight, now fully restored to his original physical form, later appeared with the Corona and used it to revive Mack and transform him into a human.
  • Neptune's Cocoon: This was found sealed within an altar in an Atlantian temple deep in the ocean. The rangers opened the cocoon, believing it to contain one of the gems belonging to the Corona Aurora, finding instead one of the "Scrolls of Neptune".
  • Scrolls of Neptune: The first of these three scrolls was inside the cocoon of Neptune. Rose solved its puzzle by making a picture of the sword of Neptune. When the Rangers assembled correctly all three scrolls, the scrolls transformed into the sword.
  • Sword of Neptune: When the three Neptune Scrolls were laid end to end, they became a blade called the Sword of Neptune. It was initially missing a jewel from its hilt. Upon its formation, it flew out of Rose's hands and pierced the island of Saint Lucia on a map, pointing the Rangers to the location of the pearl that fit its hilt. The pearl had been a lucky charm for the ghost Brownbeard (a play on Blackbeard) until he, wishing to repay the Rangers for the gift to him of a gem called the "Eye of the Sea", gave it to Rose (whose friend he had become).
  • Eye of the Sea: Jewel discovered on the island of Saint Lucia. Believed to be the first jewel of the Corona Aurora, but was proven not to be. The Rangers traded it to Brownbeard for his Lucky Pearl.
  • Dragon Scale: The scale of the dragon Fire Heart purchased by Andrew Hartford from Toby Slambrook (owner of the Rock Porium in Briarwood, featured in Power Rangers Mystic Force) to empower the Defender Vest.
  • Hou-ou Bird: A golden statue of a Japanese Phoenix, located in Istanbul. When directed at the sun at the perfect angle, it came to life and led Miratrix to the next clue to what is believed to be the Toru Diamond.
  • Ancient Parchment: Before the Hou-ou Bird disappeared, it left behind a parchment that Miratrix and Kamdor retrieved, and which led to the next jewel of the Corona. However, they could not figure out what the ancient symbols meant, and soon lost the parchment to the Rangers. Moltor released a monstrous Tyzonn to successfully retrieve the parchment, though Tyzonn's resignation from Moltor's army again put the item in the hands of the Rangers. Tyzonn decoded it by pouring lemonade (containing citrus) to lead the Rangers to the second jewel of the Corona Aurora.
  • Yanomami Statue: A mysterious, bronze-colored statue excavated in the Brazilian Rain Forest and given to the Rangers by the leader of an excavation team as a reward for the rescue thereof. When given to the Rangers, it gave off a jewel signature, suggesting that it had been exposed to a jewel of the Corona Aurora. The statue itself resembled a man holding a hammer and cannon in each of its hands. The face looked like the Face on Mars, which Rose discovered had once pointed to a location in Mexico where the next artifact could be found.
  • Cannon of Ki Amuk: A legendary blaster that was unearthed from under a mountain by the Fearcats, only to be claimed by Tyzonn and the Flash Point Megazord. It exhibits the same jewel signature as the Yanomami Statue. By loading Mjolnir into the cannon's barrel, the Rangers and Thor, the God of Thunder, were able to recover the next artifact, which was encased in hard rock.
  • Mjöllnir: The legendary hammer of Thor, the Norse God of Thunder. The Rangers raced Moltor in an effort to retrieve the treasure while in Norway; although Moltor obtained it first, the Rangers were able to take it from him. The hammer had the ability to increase an item to incredible size when used, and also had a connection to the Cannon of Ki Amuk. Neither the hammer nor the cannon was powerful enough to destroy the rock which encased the next artifact on the Rangers' quest; but by combining the two weapons, the Rangers successfully recovered it. The artifact was immediately stolen by Moltor. Unlike the mythistorical Mjolnir, this version produces blasts of sheer force (colored yellow) when brandished by Thor and directed at an enemy.
  • Piedra Aztec del Compás: The combination of the Cannon of Ki Amuk and Mjolnir was powerful enough to destroy the stone in which this ancient compass was entombed. After the Rangers discovered it, Moltor intercepted the Rangers and stole the artifact. He gave the compass to one of his minions, who was able to use its power to manipulate Qi and Li energies in order to cause Mack nothing but bad luck. Mack overcame the influence of the compass and in turn used it against the monster, allowing it to be destroyed. The Rangers then used the compass to lead them to the location of the third jewel of the Corona.
  • Super Armor: Moltor gave the Fearcats a map to find powerful samurai armor that would make them invincible in exchange for their promise to destroy the Rangers. The Fearcats used the armor on their new giant robot and quickly proved to be too strong for the DriveMax and Flash Point Megazords. The Rangers implemented several Megazord formations, attempting to overpower the Fearcats, finally ripping the armor off of the robot using the DriveMax Megazord Crane Formation. The Rangers took the armor and were then able to easily destroy the Fearcats' robot.
  • Excelsior: A sword belonging to the Goddess of War. Thrax sought it out as it was the only weapon capable of destroying the Sentinel Knight. Mack found the sword first, but in doing so led Thrax to it. After failing to remove it from the statue of the Goddess, Thrax fled to continue his destruction of the world. The Rangers attempted to retrieve the sword themselves, but could not and chose to leave. Mack stayed behind, inspiring the others to do the same and causing the statue to awaken and grant the Rangers ownership of the sword. Mack gave the sword to the Sentinel Knight, restoring his powers and returning him to his true form. From then on, the Sentinel Knight could transform into this sword, and could be wielded by either Mack or DriveMax Megazord.
  • Centurion Torch: The Fearcats sought the Centurian Torch, hoping to harness its power to set the world on fire. They found the torch and used it to empower their new robot, with which they fought the Rangers. The robot was destroyed by the DriveMax Ultrazord, allowing the Rangers to take possession of the torch.
  • Golden Scarab Beetle: Andrew discovered a compartment in the torch that held a rare golden scarab encased in amber, leading the Rangers to Egypt, where they found that the scarabs are rumored to be found deep underneath the desert sand.
  • Tablet: While in Egypt's deserts searching for the source of the signals they were receiving, the Rangers encountered Kamdor and Miratrix in an underground chamber, and fought the two for a hieroglyphic-covered tablet they were trying to take. The Rangers successfully managed to get the tablet from them after a short fight, and teleported it back to their base.
  • Octavian Chalice: The Fearcats managed to find this artifact after an extended search for it, during which they distracted the Rangers with the help of a third Fearcat who was previously thought to be dead. The Chalice acts as a receptacle that synthesizes the energy of other relics. After losing in battle against the Rangers, the Fearcats stated that the Chalice had more than one use. The Rangers then destroyed the Fearcats and took possession of it so they could decipher its other uses. The Chalice led the Rangers to Greece, where they invoked it in a ceremony to give guidance in finding the last jewel. Miratrix interrupted them and used the power of the Chalice to turn into a supernaturally powerful, bird-like monster form.
  • Sands of Scylla, Minerva's Staff, and the Root of Heisker: Three relics retrieved by Flurious, Moltor, Kamdor, and Miratrix, but all stolen by the Fearcats. Once placed inside the Octavian Chalice, the energy of these three items was merged to create the legendary beast Agrios.
  • Golden Plate: After Miratrix's separation from the Octavian Chalice, the Chalice answered the Rangers' question, finding the final jewel by turning into a Golden Plate, the discovery of which sent them back to Egypt. There they found an Anubis statue, which when the plate was placed in its hands, opened a secret passage to a sealed stone sarcophagus which held a golden coin. The Rangers attempted to open it, but discovered that they needed a key to do so.
  • Tri-Dragon Key: The Rangers traced the key needed to open the sarcophagus to Japan, where they were met by Moltor and one of his minions. After engaging in battle, Moltor approached the key and tried to take it. The key burrowed into the Earth and out of sight. Both the Rangers and Moltor tracked it to a waterfall, where they again engaged in battle. The key emerged from the water and moved toward Moltor, but was intercepted by the Black Ranger, allowing the Rangers to return to Egypt and open the sarcophagus.
  • Golden Medallion: When the Rangers opened the sealed sarcophagus, they found nothing but the coin inside. When they presented it to Andrew, he recognized it as matching an indentation on the sarcophagus of a mummy which he had been given as a gift years earlier. When the coin was placed in the indentation and came into close contact with the three Corona Jewels in the Rangers' possession, it brought the mummy to life. The mummy gave the Rangers' the fifth jewel of the Corona before it was blasted by an army of invading Chillers.
  • Compass of Keats: A treasure only featured in Power Rangers: Super Legends. The Overdrive Rangers use it to detect errant time crystals.

Corona Jewels

The five jewels were scattered around the world and have taken on new gem forms. When they are brought to the Corona, they revert to their original, diamond-shaped form.

  • Brownbeard's Pearl: When the Eye of the Sea did not fit on the hilt of the Sword of Neptune, the Rangers gave it to Brownbeard. In exchange, he gave them his lucky pearl, which fit the sword and was therefore revealed as the first jewel to the Corona Aurora. The gem's original form is the black Corona jewel.
  • Toru Diamond: The ancient parchment revealed the location of the second jewel within a volcano. Mack and Tyzonn flew into the volcano using the Sonic Streaker. Tyzonn's scales protected him from the heat of the lava, allowing him to descend on a rope and retrieve the diamond. The power of the two jewels was enough to transform Tyzonn into his Mercurian form. The gem's original form is the yellow Corona jewel.
  • Blue Sapphire: An ancient compass showed the Rangers the way to the third jewel, which was hidden underwater, whence Will, Dax, and Ronny retrieved it. Will was given the duty of delivering it to Hartford, but was attacked by Miratrix and Kamdor, and the Sapphire was stolen. To keep the Rangers busy while he searched for the final jewel, Kamdor used the gem's power to create a meteorite that nearly destroyed Earth. While Kamdor was battling the Rangers, Norg discovered the Sapphire in the Ninjas' lair and then presented it to Flurious. Flurious then used the Sapphire's power to destroy Moltor's lair. The gem's original form is the blue Corona jewel.
  • Star of Isis: The Egyptian tablet's hieroglyphics translated into a code that led straight to the fourth jewel, hidden in the Floridan Everglades. By sneaking a computer virus into the Rangers' base, Kamdor and Miratrix were able to get to the location first; the Rangers nevertheless arrived, and the two groups battled fiercely for possession of the jewel, resulting in Mack's having to become the Red Sentinel Ranger in order to successfully defeat their enemies. Kamdor and Miratrix attempted to leave with the jewel in hand, but Ronny was able to use her superhuman speed to snatch it from Kamdor's hands right as they were leaving. The gem's original form is the red Corona jewel.
  • Pink Emerald: The fifth jewel was given to the Rangers by the mummy before the creature vanished. The jewel was kept inside of a special box, which blocked the jewel signature from being detected by the Rangers' trackers. The gem's original form is the pink Corona jewel.
