Drake is a Canadian recording artist and actor. He began his acting career in 2001 under his legal name, Aubrey Graham. During his acting career, Graham has received five Young Artist Award nominations for playing the role of Jimmy Brooks in Degrassi: The Next Generation, winning Best Ensemble in a TV Series (Comedy or Drama) in the 2002 Young Artist Awards with the rest of the Degrassi cast.[1]

During his singing career, Drake has won 52 awards from 280 nominations. In 2009, Drake received 10 nominations, winning one: Rookie of the Year at the BET Hip Hop Awards. He received 40 nominations in 2010, in which he won 8, including Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Best Group with Young Money at the BET Awards; Best New Artist and Rap Recording of the Year for So Far Gone at the Juno Awards; Cinematographer of the Year and MuchVIBE Hip-Hop Video of the Year for "Successful" at the MuchMusic Video Awards.
