This lists closed, demolished or otherwise defunct railway stations, lines or branches in Adelaide and South Australia.

Several complete lines have been closed, with the rails removed, all of the station infrastructure removed, and some of the stations demolished:

Willunga railway line (closed 1969)

The right of way is now used as the Coast to Vines Rail Trail

North Terrace – Glenelg railway line (closed 14 December 1929)
Glenelg (closed 1929 and converted to Glenelg tram)
Glenelg and South Coast Tramway (closed 1880)
St Leonards to Grange Railway
Jubilee Exhibition Railway (closed 1925)
It is arguable whether this was a long siding or a short branch - it had no stations

Largs Jetty railway line (closed 1908)

Branched from the Outer Harbor line at Largs station, traversing Jetty Road, Largs Bay to the Largs Pier Hotel and the Largs Pier / jetty.

Semaphore railway line (closed 29 October 1978)

Branched from the Outer Harbor line at Glanville station, traversing Jetty Road, Semaphore to the pier / jetty.

Finsbury railway line (closed 17 August 1979)

Branched from the Outer Harbor line starting Woodville station.
