Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. The Professional Inline Hockey Association Hall of Fame was established in 2010. It is a hall of fame dedicated to the inline hockey league, the Professional Inline Hockey Association. There are three categories for induction, players, builders, and notable patrons.

For a person to be inducted to the Professional Inline Hockey Association Hall of Fame, they must be nominated by the selection committee. Three players per category per year can be nominated. Each year one of the nominees in each category is inducted into the Hall of Fame, for a maximum of one inducted per category per year. For a player to be nominated, the person must have been retired for a minimum of three years. Builders and notable patrons may be "active or inactive".

As of 2010, there are one player, one builder and one notable patron in the Hall of Fame.

As of 2010, a maximum of one player can be inducted in one year. The only player inductee is American-born. The only PIHA team with a player inductee is the Pennsylvania Typhoon, formerly the York Typhoon. One defenceman is in the Hall of Fame.

Builders

The Builder category has been in existence since the beginning of the Hall of Fame and the first builder was inducted in 2010. A builder is a person who has contributed to the development of the game of inline hockey, and as the name refers, one who has built the game forward. Since then, one builder has been inducted. For a person to be inducted to the Hall of Fame as a builder, they may be "active or inactive" and elected by the selection committee. As of 2010, a maximum of one builder can be inducted in one year.

Notable patrons

The Notable Patron category has been in existence since the beginning of the Hall of Fame and the first notable patron was inducted in 2010. A notable patron is a person who supports, protects, or champions the game of inline hockey. Since then, one notable patron has been inducted. For a person to be inducted to the Hall of Fame as a notable patron, they may be "active or inactive" and elected by the selection committee. As of 2010, a maximum of one notable patron can be inducted in one year.
