Love is on the Air is a 1937 American film directed by Nick Grinde. The film stars Ronald Reagan and June Travis, supported by Eddie Acuff, Robert Barrat, Raymond Hatton, and Willard Parker. This was Reagan's screen debut. The first of three remakes of the 1933 Paul Muni picture Hi, Nellie, George Brent in You Can't Escape Forever (1942), and Wayne Morris in House Across the Street (1949).[1]
Plot summary
Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. A reckless radio commentator Andy McCaine (Ronald Reagan) gets into trouble when he attacks a corrupt city government, whereupon his boss disciplines McCaine by forcing him to host an innocuous kiddie program.
