Makenzie Fischer (born 29 March 1997) is a water polo player of the United States. She was part of the American team winning the gold medal at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships, where she played in the centre back position.[1]
Family
Fischer comes from a family of athletes. Her younger sister, Aria Fischer, joins her on the American Women's National Team for Water Polo.[2] Their father, Erich Fischer, competed on the American Men's National Team for Waterpolo.[2] Her uncle, Martin Fischer, was a goalkeeper for Stanford's Men's Water Polo Team[3] and would later coach Stanford's women's team[4] to their first ever national title.[4]
