Mikael Ymer (born 9 September 1998 in Skara) is a Swedish tennis player of Ethiopian descent. He is the younger brother of fellow tennis player Elias Ymer.[1]

Career

Ymer has a career high ATP singles ranking of World No. 766, achieved on 13 July 2015. He has a career high ATP doubles ranking of 1390 achieved on 8 June 2015.

Ymer made his first junior major final at 2015 Wimbledon, where he lost to Reilly Opelka in straight sets.

Ymer also managed to claim his second European Championships title 2015 (U18), beating Bernabe Zapata Miralles in the final in straight sets.
