Montgomery Elevator Company was an elevator company, founded in 1892, entered the elevator business in 1910, is now defunct, acquired by KONE in 1996, and was also the 4th largest elevator company in the U.S. After Montgomery was acquired in 1997, it worked with KONE to make elevators, but only for about 3 years (from 1997 to 2000).
One of the most unique Montgomery elevators in the world is the elevator tram in the St. Louis Gateway Arch.
