Mukōgaoka-Yūen Station (向ヶ丘遊園駅 Mukōgaoka-Yūen-eki?) is a railway station on the Odakyu Odawara Line in Tama-ku, Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan.

History

  • 1927 - The station opens as Inada-Noborito Station
  • 1927 - A small steam train begins operating between this station and Mukogaoka-Yuen Amusement Park
  • 1927 - Promoted to Express train stop
  • 1944 - Express trains cease operation
  • 1945 - The local service between Shinjuku and Ineda-Noborito expands to the entire line, which leads to the discontinuation of Chokutsū
  • 1946 - Promoted to Semi-Express stop
  • 1948 - Promoted to Sakura Semi Express stop
  • 1952 - Promoted to Express train stop
  • 1955 - Promoted to Rush Hour Express train stop
  • 1955 - The station is renamed to Mukogaoka-Yūen
  • 1957 - Promoted to Summer-only Rapid Express trains stop
  • 1960 - Promoted to Rush Hour Rapid Semi Express stop
  • 1964 - Promoted to Rapid Semi Express stop
  • 1965 - Steam Locomotive service ceases
  • 1966 - Mukōgaoka-Yūen Monorail starts to operate
  • 2000 - Mukōgaoka-Yūen Monorail ceases operation
  • 2001 - Mukōgaoka-Yūen Monorail is discontinued
  • 2002 - Mukōgaoka-Yūen Amusement Park ceases
  • 2002 - Promoted to Shōnan Express stop
  • 2004 - Promoted to Section Semi Express stop
