National Highway 29 is a National Highway entirely within the state of Uttar Pradesh, India linking the city of Varanasi to the town of Sonauli - The India-Nepal border.[1] The total length of the highway is 306 km (190 mi). NH 29 passes through Anandnagar, Gorakhpur, Mau, Ghazipur and the religious city of Sarnath. It is under construction and soon it will be four-lane.
