Nazaré Paulista is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population is 17,794 (2015 est.) in an area of 326.3 km².[1] It borders the Atlantic Forest and is a major source of water for the city of São Paulo. Nazaré Pauilista is a relatively impoverished area and its resources are focused on conservation.
