Nazirul Naim (born 6 April 1993 in Perak) is a Malaysian footballer currently playing for Harimau Muda A.

Club career

Starting his career in Bukit Jalil Sports School, Nazirul progressed through the national youth set-up in Harimau Muda B and Harimau Muda A. In 2013 he joined F.C. Ryūkyū in Japan Football League after a 2-week trial.[1][2] Unfortunately his stint was plagued by injury, and in 2014 after his contract expired without playing any official matches, he returned to Harimau Muda A.

HARIMAU MUDA leftback Nazirul Naim Che Hashim was the surprise selection for a stint with J-League club FC Ryukyu.Nazirul is a surprise inclusion as Ryukyu were previously looking at midfielder Wan Zaharulnizam Zakaria. Wan Zack has always been on the club’s radar. “The decision is based on who has a better chance of playing matches with them. We want them to be able to play matches too,” said Kim Swee.

“They (Ryukyu) only have one leftback at present and after seeing Nazirul in training and videos of him, Ryukyu decided to sign him instead.”

He joined Perak F.A for the 2016/2017 season.

International career

He earned his first international cap in a friendly against Bangladesh national football team on 29 August 2015, as a substitute.[3]
