Noah Buschel (born 1978)[1] is an American film director and screenwriter.

Early life
Buschel was born in Philadelphia and grew up in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City.[1][2] He began writing screenplays at the age of 19.[1]
Career
Buschel's first film, Bringing Rain, premiered at the 2003 Tribeca Film Festival.[3] His second film, Neal Cassady, was distributed by IFC. His third film, The Missing Person, premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival,[4] and earned Buschel a Gotham Award nomination for Breakthrough Director.[3] His 2012 film Sparrows Dance was named Best Narrative Feature at the 2012 Austin Film Festival.[5] He has collaborated with cinematographer Ryan Samul on four films: The Missing Person, Sparrows Dance, Glass Chin and The Phenom.[6]
