NXTcomm is a company created after the joining of the Telecommunications Industry Associate (TIA) and the United States Telecom Association (USTelecom) in 2006.[citation needed]

McCormick Place
The first NXTcomm event was held in June 2007 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.[citation needed] The event had 15,273 attendees from June 18 to June 21, with nearly 450 analysts covering the show.[citation needed]

NXTcomm08 was held from June 16 to June 19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center
