Oga Station (男鹿駅 Oga-eki?) is a railway station in the city of Oga, Akita Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Oga Station is a terminus of the Oga Line and is located 26.6 rail kilometers from the opposing terminal of the line at Oiwake Station.

History

Oga Station opened on December 16, 1916 as Funakawa Station (船川駅?), serving the town of Funakawamianto, Akita. It was renamed to its present name on April 1, 1968. With the privatization of JNR on April 1, 1987, the station has been managed by JR East.
