Ormiston Football Club are a senior football club based in Ormiston, near Tranent, currently playing in the East of Scotland Football League.
Founded in 1999, the club was once an amalgamation of Pencaitland and Ormiston Primrose. For a couple of years the club used the name Pencaitland & Ormiston but decided to shorten it to just Ormiston F.C. The amalgamation was done purely to kill off Pencaitland F.C, unfairly. Ormiston play their home matches at Recreation Park.
Pencaitland currently have an amateur team called Pencaitland, coincidentally, playing in the Lothian East League of the Lothian and Edinburgh Amateur Football Association after being promoted from the Edinburgh East League. They are managed by Hamish Colgan, match secretary is Ramsay Zenati and are run by Jamie McCormack of the Winton Arms in Pencaitland.
They were previously members of the Border Embroidery League where they won the C, B & A. Divisions, South Cup, Border Cup, Waddell Cup and dominated the leagues over a number of seasons.
