Parth Samthaan is an Indian model and television actor. One of the youngest and most versatile Indian celebrities, Samthaan has gained a lot in an early age. Samthaan has worked in many successful television shows. Started off his career as first runner up in Pantaloon Fresh Face 2012, he did adds for popular brands like Close-up, Coke in his modelling days.
Earlier his career, he worked in episodic series like Life OK's Savdhaan India, MTV India's crime series Webbed, UTV Bindass's Yeh Hai Aashiqui, and Zing's Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. He got his first big role of Prithvi Sanyal in Channel V's Best Friends Forever?.
He was last seen as Male Lead of MTV popular youth show Kaisi yeh Yaariyan ( Season 1 & 2). His angry young man portrayal as Manik Malhotra, in Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, has garnered him huge popularity and fan following on social media. He was main lead of Season-1 of Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan. The show considered him a youth icon and his onscreen chemistry with Niti Taylor has been very much appreciated in the show. Due to immense popularity of his character [1] and massive trending from his fans,Parth was brought back and his character was reinstated in Season-2.[2]
In Dec 2015, He was declared highest placed newcomer (11th position) in top 50 Sexiest Asian Men list of UK based Eastern Eye newspaper.[3][4][5]
After end of second season of MTV Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan in Dec 2015, Parth was signed for his first Bollywood debut, Googly Ho Gayi ( Genre : RomCom ). Addition to this Parth has also been signed up for three more films, news about which is yet to arrive.[6]
According to the interviews and updates he will be seen opposite to the Indo-Polish actress Angela Krislinzki, in the film Googly Ho Gayi.[7] Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab will be seen in significant roles as well .[8][9]
Parth has been named "Rabbi" in this film . The inauguration of his film was held on his 25th birthday,11 March 2016 at Juhu Hotel with open invitation for his fans which made he occasion really special evening.[10][11][12][13][14][15][16] Parth has been recording for a song for his film which has been named Jind Meri ; the release of which is still not announced yet.[17][18] Lokesh Bhatta, Sajid Bubere, Navin Prabhakar, Archana Puran Singh, Satish Kaushik , Saurabh Shukla, Vijay Raj are part of this project as well. Produced by 3’S Creation under Sonali & Subhash Singh, this movie is written by Raj Shandilya, and will be directed by Ali Shah.[19]
