People Get Ready is an album by American soul music group the Impressions, released in 1965. It contains Curtis Mayfield's "People Get Ready", which was a successful single that had a significant impact on the civil rights movement.[1] The album reached number one on the Billboard R&B chart and 23 on the main Billboard chart.[2]

There were three singles released from the album: "You Must Believe Me" in 1964 which reached 15 in the main Billboard chart; "People Get Ready" in 1965 which reached 14 in the main chart and number three in the R&B chart; and "Woman's Got Soul" in 1965 which reached 29 in the main chart and 9 in the R&B chart.
