Rajesh De (born circa 1972[1]) is an American lawyer, and former U.S. government official.

From early 2011 through April 2012, De served as White House Staff Secretary. From April 2012 through March 2015, he was general counsel for the U.S. National Security Agency, a period marked by controversy over disclosures of NSA surveillance.[2][3] After leaving the NSA, he joined the law firm Mayer Brown.[3]

De has a JD from Harvard Law School and an AB from Harvard College[4] where he graduated in the class of 1999.[1]
