Raoua Tlili (Arabic: روعة التليلي‎‎) is a Paralympian athlete from Tunisia competing mainly in category F40 shot put and discus events.


Life

Tlili competed in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China. There she won a silver medal in the women's shot put F40 event and a gold medal in the women's discus throw F40 event.

Tlili also competed in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, UK. There she won a gold medal in the women's shot put F40 event and a silver medal in the women's discus throw F40 event.

Menggenjimisu was beaten to the gold by Raoua Tlili on 15 September in a reversal of the earlier positions. Tlili established a new World Record of 8.95 to beat Jimisu.[1]

IPC world records

Since September 15, 2008, Raoua is the owner of IPC world records of 8.95 in Shot put category F40.
